Joe Raposo's score here is a masterpiece. Though these pieces are short, they pack so much musically. It's a bit hard to pick the guitar out of the mix, but I love the chords being strummed. I love how in these pieces, you'll have a multiple of instruments "doubling" or all playing the same notes and patterns- then toss in those brief moments where the music stops except for a bell, triangle or chime. Joe Raposo was such an amazing composer!
In the days when this aired, it was easy to spot wild birds close to my city, or even in it. I really lament how cities are wiping out all signs of natural beauty.
Nice memory! Even though I see no written indication here so far mentioning that it's Joe Raposo's music, such indication isn't necessary! The unique, upbeat quality of the music speaks for itself!
Around the time this first aired some crazy guy in Oregon went to a local PBS station in Salem and cut their transmitter tower down, they were knocked off the air for 3 or 4 months while they built a new one, this would be some weird background music for the tower cutdown or even the rebuild,I think, but maybe I'm the crazy one!
@RuffRuffman371 Is the "unknown" one the bird at 0:45 flapping its wings? (That's sort of the misfit because it's not "Two birds", only one. Do you agree?)

Those 2 birds at the end look like they're having a race, maybe in the Birds' Olympix.

This has always reminded me of a big beautiful lake that my family always swam at when I was a kid! I'll never forget that beautiful place! :)

Most of those birds really know how to dance to the music, and keep good time with it!

I loved this little song & video. It always put me in a cheery mood, & sometimes it gave me some really far out dreams at nite!
