  • Crazy! Is it Kawasaki-made? How does the "HORN" sound?

  • Crazy! Is it Kawasaki-made?

  • @AdmiralArcher No, Alstom built, there a vid : " TGV horn " where you can heard the horn !

  • @dashloc Does Kawasaki make them kind of TURBO trains?

  • @dashloc What you mean "NO"? They should, right?

  • @AdmiralArcher, I mean, we don't have Kawasaki trains here.

  • wow..what an amazing noise

  • Truly awesome stuff...what's with the double trainsets?

  • @phantomlord54, What do you want to know ?

  • I wanna know what's with the double trainsets? I've never seen that before..

  • @phantomlord54

Ok, it's a " TGV Duplex " built by Alstom,

    about 8 cars, 516 seat, 390 tonn, 8800 kw

    and a maximal speed of 200mph !

  • BTW great camera views to i love them!

  • AWESOME!!! 5*****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but how did you get that close to the railway? dont they have high fences to keep people out?? and at 0:57 are you on a bridge? it looks like it.

  • Thanks Coolcarman555, fence all the way, but you can often go close to the track at the place where there a bridge. Yes at 0:57 the camera is on the bridge.

  • I just love the shot at 1:02

  • Simply Incredible. The States need these, maybe more people would use the public transportation system.

  • Thank you Miticapandaru :)

  • very nice

  • Thank you Spacewalker1551 :)

  • I wished our trains went even HALF the speed of the great TGV.

  • @NeoFalcon69

TGVs travel at 300KPH or, if you like 187 MPH. They use special tracks that can only be used by TGV trains and nothing else. In 1976 (34 years ago) British Rail HSTs (Inter-City 125s) were operating on normal lines shared by freight trains and stopping passenger/commuter trains at 200KPH or 125 MPH. That's two-thirds of the TGVs speed which is more than half so your wish has been granted. more than half.

  • the TGV duplex scares me how fast it is :D

  • i dont understand, wether the japanese or french who invented capsul train that speeds up to 300km/h.?

I think japanese still holds the record for world's fastest train.

  • The Japanese have built the first high speed lines in 1964, so they also built the first high speed trains before, Andykekancan.

  • The Japanese were the first to develop the bullet train, however, the French and the Germans came afterwords. The French hold the world speed record for the fastest train on rails. The German maglevs however are even faster operating on magnetic rail.

  • cool,nice I give 5*

  • Thank you BK20185 :) cheers

    -Dash

  • How fast was this train?

    A+

  • Wow! Cute cute.

Not give 5 stars but ten stars.

  • Thanks Qreqorius :)

  • Yahhhy !

  • WOW!

  • DAMN!!!!

  • OMFG

  • Great video!! Also at 1:14 - Black Locusts grow in France, too? Stay away from them, they are full of sharp thorns that'll slice your arms wide open. The round leaves are the giveaway. I especially like the TGV Duplexes.

  • Thanks Nyshortline, hmm...black locusts grow ?

    I don't know, but maybe !

  • Amazing !!

  • Thanks Grzesieksewiolo :)

  • thats the biggest high speed train in the world. with double decker cars and extended connection.

  • amazing coooooll

  • Thanks Andreaslive666

  • daam theyre soo fast..

  • wow you really love trains :-) may i suggest a job as loko driver.. if you not already are one..

  • Gotcha ! i'm a train driver ! :P

  • lol :-) really cool.. have you ever trainsurfed? if i may ask... or do you think they are loco :-D

  • lol you kidding PetevanGogh ?! :) trainsurfing on high speed trains, yes abit way " loco" :P

  • @dashloc yearhh ;-) but haven´t you seen the crazy german guy on the fast train? can´t remember what train it is, but its a very fast one..

  • Was an ICE III the guy was a bit crazy !

  • Trains are so... I do not know... charming?

  • ...glamourous! :)

  • cool

  • good

  • thanks :)

  • lol !

  • Ok, better in English lol !

  • wow, thats fast! :p

  • Instead of being cut to pieces by the TGV's razor-sharp wheels, the sheer velocity of the train will most likely blast you a good distance across the track and either kill you or cause serious injury.

  • The "zone dangereuse" (danger zone) on high speed line is two meters between the exterior of the rail.

    1,50 meters on classic line.

  • how many mph

  • Close of 180mph.

  • Over 200mph

  • Yes but not at this place, only on the "LGV est" and on a little part of the "LGV MED".

  • WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WOOOOOOOSHHH

  • Yup :

    FIU/FIU/FIU/FIUFIU/FIU/FIU/FIU/FIU WOOOOOSH!

  • tres vite

    very fast

    mui rapido

  • A donf !

  • That is crazy, the TGV tracks allows anyone to climb right where the train is.

You guys are lucky there hasn't been any derailments.

How many people / large animals die each year for crossing the TGV tracks?

  • Lol strange question! :P

On the high speed line, boars and deers are the first smashed by the TGV after the birds who are killing every days (sic!) .

About the south east high speed lines (Paris Lyon Marseille, this what i know a bit the statistic !) it's about 5 to 10 big animals crushed by month, about humans, that's happening time to time whit unfortunely a large parts during the end of the year feast.

  • Comment removed

  • peppeddu, you've written the same question on several TGV clips: go to wiki or someone and get to know some facts. There are 4metre fences blocking access to the lines on all high speed sections and there are no level crossings. Occaisionally animals and people somehow managed to become targets, but this is usually on the standard speed sections, not the high speed ones. And in any case, it has never been any competition....

  • wow. I believe this train's basic speed is 199 mph. sure beats the US standard of 125 mph to be qualified "high speed".

  • Wow, did you see the first one tilting as it came out of the tunnel. I read that trains can do that, but it's a different thing seeing it. lol, I probably sound like a three year old at christmas.

  • "probably sound like a three year old at christmas"

    hahaha funny :)

  • oh very nice

  • Thank you Alexke 1503 :)

  • Holy crap that created a big gust of wind!

  • lol ! yes abit ;)

  • Great video thx!

The world need more trains like the TGV.Then we can get rid of some of the extremely polluting aircrafts

  • aircraft are faster than trains and less polluting than many cargo and passenger boats. Also, many airlines are replacing older model aircraft with new more fuel efficient (and less polluting) ones. I'm not saying that airplanes dont pollute at all, but i think that it is unfair that every time someone is talking about pollution in the transportation business the first thing they talk about is air travel!

  • Yeap, and don't forgot bad emission for heat or climatisation on building, certainly a biggest pollution than every transportation system !!!

  • Thank You Lofi73 :P unfortunely aircraft beat the train for passed over the atlantic...matbe not in fews decade ?

  • Hæh...Yeah well i was mostly thinking about travel within the EU.I took the southbound TGV from Paris a couple of times and that sure beat going to an airport/boarding/out of airport/cab/whatever...Just as fast or faster than taking the plane.

And about the plane-thing:EVERY SINGLE passenger on a transcontinental flight (Europe to U.S. or vice versa) produce the same amount of co2 as a 4 person household does in 1 year....Multiply that by the number of passengers...

  • I've never figured out why the N.E U.S , which is the most like Europe never adopted a large expanisive rail system and invested in high speed rail. Acela is the only thing here and it only serves a corridor...Not a wide range of stops.

  • The U.S. will never get this.. they are too stupid and lazy to money into technology like this, besides they all think the world gonna end in 2012..oooo idiots... Makes me want to move to France, Germany, or Japan to keep up to date with Techonology because the U.S. cares less about efficency and techonology like smart people.... but i will give a lil credit to the new fast Amtrak Acela.. but they have ways to go before they ever meet up with TGV, ICE, Shinkansen, or maglev... LMAO!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • WE NEED THIS IN THE US!! :(

  • I agree :) There's a great many places these trains could do a great deal of good, I only wish companies weren't being so lazy and would do as the French worked out 30 years ago; ten solid years of rail investment could get a network capable of 300-350 KMPH of clean electrical trains racing back and forth, putting planes out of business on local trips between cities. High speed rail would be a blessing.

  • SNCF...Moving people faster and better. I'm sad because I live in canada and our trains move as fast as escargots! Very well done video, Merci!

  • Your welcome, thanks to you Drzhava73 :)

  • perfect image !!! like also the shot you zoom out from the tunnel .... very good. Go on like this .... 5 stars.

  • Thank you Straessers :)

  • WOW .awesome video good job thanks..RAILJG#############

  • Thank you Jerry2665 :P

  • Ive been one the TGV. They get up to insane speed south of Paris!

  • Yeap , 300 kmh/186mph ! :)

  • since 1981 the best

  • Lol :P

  • superbe!

  • Merci Catholiques.

  • Good movie, steamtrains are not so fast.??? Look ad my video`s
