you know when i think about it... can you use a speed to an advantage to go defensive and avoid more stufff?

Probably could, but with V. Akiha's already low HP and DEF, it's more worth it to just use your speed to overwhelm the other player into making stupid mistakes.

OH SHI-!AKIHA VERMILION IS FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSST!! She kicked the opponent across the screen, dashed after them, and continued the combo BEFORE THEY HIT THE WALL. To keep up with a flying opponent, damn, that's just scary.....Normal Akiha has a slight delay in her dash(because she turns around and then runs)so to see V.Akiha like that is just...wow.

Probably to replace her defensive stats. Did remember hearing Normal Akiha has better defensive stats then Vermilion Akiha.

That reminds me, Is she dash canceling or is there simply absolutely no recoil from the attack at all? Because then she's be the second character to be able to dash cancel(W.Len can dash cancel any connected or blocked normal attack)

That a dash cancel. V. Akiha's Kick has a huge recoil that makes anyone fly to the wall.

Well obviously I know that part about the kick....It's not like I'm new to Melty Blood you know. Just she couldn't Dash Cancel in MBAC(Or at least I've never seen her do it if she could, though I highly doubt it), so yeah...

BoneBeastKimimaro: Hey, I know that your comment was a month ago, but I'd like to disprove your thoughts on whether V. Akiha can Dash Cancel in MBAC or not -- she CAN.
I'll put up a video this week containing some Dash Cancel and D. Cancel Rushdowns when I can get some good time in to create another video.
She's fully capable of it, but the window of time you have to perform the D. Cancel is REALLY small.

Yeah, I kinda learned that recently after seeing it myself.... it's just that no one ever used it, so I figured it was impossible

well yea.. shes known to be the fastest character... but her downfall is that she has the lowest defense

Tell me about it, Restinpeace5. That's why I have to play her VERY aggressively. I drive my friend Chris nuts on MBCaster netplay for MBAC with my V. Akiha.
The problem with V. Akiha lies in that you CANNOT make ONE mistake, lest it can cost you an entire match if it's grave enough.
Still incredibly fun to play, though.

yea... my main's a nanaya half In AA... i don't really play AC cos of the Ac movelist... i know its original but.. i think that i prefer the Half movelist for nanaya...
true enough that you have to be aggressive... but becareful thou... you don't want to be too aggressive otherwise... your probably gonna get bunkerd sooner or later
