I saw the Ded Bob show for the first time at the 2010 Atlanta Renn Faire, and it was was brilliant! My friendsand I were falling off the benches in the audience. Great stuff, Sluj, hope to see you there next year. I hate the heat and humidity too, and wish they would have it in March and April instead of April and May...we frequently are in the 90's by May. Guess it's hard to change since there are so many Renn Faires across the country now.
OMG. I was just looking at some of the Ded Bob shows as we go almost every year and there I am. Zombie #1 sitting on the bench. Blonde with glasses. It was fun being up there though. Guess you never know when someone has a camera pointed at you. If you go this is the show to see. :-)
Can I say as one of those who saw Bob's Georgia RenFest premiere season with Smuj & always loved that show, it's a little insulting to hear Sluj say he "got stuck doing Atlanta again this year." We at GARF always welcomed the Ded Bob Sho &it was always standing-room only at his stage in his 2nd season and many successive seasons after, so to hear that kind of hurts.
Also, on the behalf of many of my GARF patron friends, I do want to say we miss Smuj/Clarke a great deal & wish you much success.
Clark here, I want to apologize about the "hideous 3 1/2 hour production of Hamlet" crack.
It was actually quite interesting...not the way I would have directed it maybe, but the costumes were outstanding, and the space "Atlanta's Excelsior Mill" was a perfect setting.
The director Jeff Watkins is a very dear friend. He has grown the Atlanta Shakespeare Company into a Main Street Top notch Theater and deserves all the respect and admiration I can give and then some.
Clark, I've been sifting through all these videos looking for the one the only the original and the best !! I have my music up here, I am a granny of three now! Remember my daughter Jasmine? she just had her third child and is about to turn 25! I have thought of you much over the years. I just missed you in 05 in AZ, the other guy was taking over the act. I went back there for 2 yrs, my mom died and after I ret. to GA dad died. I love bein' Granny!! Love ya! E.T.
Love watching it at the Texas RenFest! Must See! Keep up the great Job!
