Except that lobbyists make the laws in this country, not the people. Universal healthcare is designed to benefit the pharmaceutical companies and big business, not the well being of the citizens. Cap & trade is designed to benefit the firms and investors handing out the carbon credits, not the environment. Green legislation will allow them to further tax and fine your mileage, energy usage and eventually dictate a lifestyle they decide is best for the environment, which is about control.

Revolutions ARE long term projects. I'm going to vote for Obama because I desperately want to end this war and get my god damned civil rights back at least. Except that lobbyists make the laws in this country, not the people. Universal healthcare is designed to benefit the pharmaceutical companies and big business, not the well being of the citizens. Cap & trade is designed to benefit the firms and investors handing out the carbon credits, not the environment. Green legislation will allow them to further tax and fine your mileage, energy usage and eventually dictate a lifestyle they decide is best for the environment, which is about control.

We are losing the jobs even WITH a huge, over extended government at the helm. Except under the current system, we are owned by banks, lobbyists and international debtors AND we lose a good chunk of our paychecks to taxes every month. The small businesses that COULD create jobs are up against a wall of corporate lobbyists designing laws to exclude them from commerce in favor of big corporations. Ron Paul only ran to make us aware of the many shortcomings within our system. He succeeded in that.

As long as the federal government's fleecing of america via income taxes continues and they sell it to the people as a source for social welfare programs, of course the majority of america will back up your claim - until our country is bankrupt and power continues to centralize into a dictatorship. That's exactly what's happening now. Decentralize political power and the economy; only then will we be free citizens again.

we need to write in Ron Paul. Its not a waste. Sure he wont win but if say he recieved a record breaking amount of write in votes its a start. Perhaps doing this might stir up people who either dont vote or vote from the lesser of two evils to actually consider a third party candidate. I know Ron Paul is not running third party but he is the ONLY candidate i support. So please join me if you support Ron Paul and write him in. Its the real beginning of change in the USA.

People forget what the Republican party principally stands for and forget the Republican party originally fought for civil rights.
Paul wants to stick to that idea of protecting individual choice. Neo-cons have since taken over, who are not Republican or republican. :)

Both parties are infilterated by CFR, AIPAC, and the other pro-NWO, pro-Fascism lobbyists, Republicans primarily rely on ol' West and fake "conservatives" who believe in the Status Quo and the unwillingness to give up a penny to equate final results among warring classes.
Republicans as well relied on "small town" or "heck" town America, which included middle class white Americans in closed societies, who are afraid of "socialist" agenda of Dems and the possibility of "subsidized" programs

The treasonous politicians of the US did, do, and always, differ on providing medical coverage, promising schools, or affordable housing.
Bush rejected health care for American Children, Congress would NOT come to the aid of American Workers, and would NOT offer any support for middle class.
But once the word "Israel" is uttered, parties are unified, debates are silenced, divisions are mended, politicians unanimously swear to protect, uphold, and serve the Israeli objectives no matter what.
