Why does megaman 7 and 8 get so much hate? While not as good as earlier ones, they both are great games in their own right. In fact megaman 8 was why I bought the anniversary collection.

@omastar444 i think its because you can only chose 4 bosses instead of 8, and the voice acting is terrible in mm8 and its way too easy, megaman 7 i think is because of its extremely hard end boss to outherwise an easy game... Though i love love them i think they are excelent lattformers. And they are extremly underrated

Just use the freeze power in Quick Man's stage to avoid the beams. I thought everybody knew that one. That stage use to frustrate the HELL outta me. I don't know anyone that can survive it on skill. Hmmm...Maybe that will be my next search

Got a repro cart with clamshell case and manual made for me a couple years ago, it's in English, the save system is fixed, and it runs at the correct speed (though it still has slowdown). While it may not be an original copy, it plays just fine on my Genesis, even get to unlock the Wily Tower without using a Game Genie code, or having to play the Japanese version.

I found the NES's graphics to be better than the Genesis's at times. There's just somethnig about the puffy clouds in Air Man's stage in the NES version that makes you more afraid of fallnig than the Sega version.

I actually really liked MM8, its my favourite in classic series, same goes for The X series, MMX4 is my favourite X game, it the cheesey voice acting and 32-bit graphics, music and gameplay that really make those games really enjoyable and fun to play, at least in my opinion

This could've been better, the controls aren't as responsive as in MM2/3 and it still has that awful slowdown during boss fights. Soundwise it's also a bit lacking, as no samples were used (for drums). Definitely an enjoyable review though, keep it up.
