I have a 3DS already. I do plan on getting a Vita but I'm just wondering if I should wait for a price drop or get the 3G bundle that comes with the 8GB memory card. My one complaint about the Vita is that it's friggen expensive. I heard that a memory card is absolutely mandatory to play games on the Vita and it doesn't come with a memory card. Therefore it actually costs at least $20 more than what it really is. Depending on what memory card you get.

@dweem2009able thats a hard one but I like wipeout a little more(the last f zero was on gamecube). I love the soundtrack and the zone and dominator modes(introduced in wipeout HD) I excited for what they will do for f zero and I would play it more than mario kart 7.

wipeout 2048, super stardust delta, gravity rush (my most anticipated game), dynasty warriors, shinobido 2, lord of apocalypse, mortal kombat, ruin, resistance burning skies.. thers more titles than just uncharted that are worth picking up a vita for. the lineup will get crazier with time
The Vita is essentially "a current gen console in handheld form" in terms of features and graphics. the 3DS, while it has good games, cannot compete in terms of hardware and software (not including games). we will have to decide in a few years which one ultimately has the best game library. but im sticking with the vita for now. I already have one pre ordered.

The PSP was way better in terms of graphics and operating system but the DS was ultimately the better system because it had the games to back it up. It seems to be happening again with the 3DS the only difference is the market is different and now the nintendo console has MH.
Killzone was confirmed to be in development for Vita, also a resistance game, call of duty game, etc. who knows one day we may get a infamous, battlefield, skyrim, batman, etc
Look at description jurt , but I got a 3DS just for the New Mario Kart game, and for the Ocarina which I haven't touch yet cause I know they're long as games and fun.( I got the Zelda edition console) for the Vita there really isn't no good launch games that appeal to me. So until there's a good game I'll buy one, plus the prices are up there and hopefully the price drops.
Obviously the 3ds will obliterate the vita in sales. The vita's offerings are nice, but i'm worried about the sales since it's not doing to hot right now.

The Vita Launch line-up does look impressive but we're just going to have to see how alot of the features and functions operate after launch. The thing I am weary about with the Vita is the product life... Nintendo is as you said known for great hardware quality and most of their handhelds last for the long term... The original price release on the 3DS was $249.00 same as the VITA Wifi model with only one real good game at launch which was Street Fighter 4. The price drop on the 3DS was last summer or early fall if my memory is right or wrong. I already have a 3DS just have to wait for the Vita..

@DevastatorsPissed1 Thats retarded the 3ds has 3d and adds depth to games which means add new gameplay to games which the wii cannot. Gameplay is much improved since you can judge distances. Mario 3d land theres times that you wouldnt be able to complete a level without the 3d on. Now the vita is just the same old gameplay elements than on the ps3.

Handhelds cant hold my attention, Sony will fail as usual with handhelds, history proves me right on its own. But it will be a power piece of machine. I think the two console are cool, each one gets good games and features:
3D features, DOA Dimensions, Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, Resident Evil Revelations, Kid Icarus Uprasing and of course Cave Story 3D for 3DS
Gravity Rush, Uncharted Golden Abyss,... Trophies features for the Vita.
However, I just hope that the PS Vita won't have only the same games as the PS3 and get more exclusivities ^^

@dweem2009able thats a hard one but I like wipeout a little more(the last f zero was on gamecube). I love the soundtrack and the zone and dominator modes(introduced in wipeout HD) I excited for what they will do for f zero and I would play it more than mario kart 7.

The Vita is essentially "a current gen console in handheld form" in terms of features and graphics. the 3DS, while it has good games, cannot compete in terms of hardware and software (not including games). we will have to decide in a few years which one ultimately has the best game library. but im sticking with the vita for now. I already have one pre ordered.

And if i did i wouldnt be looking to play a hardcore game like call of duty thats just retarded because you gotta really concentrate and who wants to do that when your walking down the street or at the mall etc. Thats why hardcore games has no place on a handheld. Cross game chat really isnt worth the price. And exclusives are better on a ps3.

The PSP was way better in terms of graphics and operating system but the DS was ultimately the better system because it had the games to back it up. It seems to be happening again with the 3DS the only difference is the market is different and now the nintendo console has MH.

Look at description jurt , but I got a 3DS just for the New Mario Kart game, and for the Ocarina which I haven't touch yet cause I know they're long as games and fun.( I got the Zelda edition console) for the Vita there really isn't no good launch games that appeal to me. So until there's a good game I'll buy one, plus the prices are up there and hopefully the price drops.

The Vita Launch line-up does look impressive but we're just going to have to see how alot of the features and functions operate after launch. The thing I am weary about with the Vita is the product life... Nintendo is as you said known for great hardware quality and most of their handhelds last for the long term... I hope that after the Vita comes Sony doesn't annonce a new version in 2013 trying to get more money from us consumers.

The original price release on the 3DS was $249.00 same as the VITA Wifi model with only one real good game at launch which was Street Fighter 4. The price drop on the 3DS was last summer or early fall if my memory is right or wrong. I already have a 3DS just have to wait for the Vita..
