Yeh I gotta say I always thought the CGI in Alien was abit ropey, it never really blended with the rest of the film which spoilt it, cus it was a pretty god film. That bit wen the Xeno is close up to Ripley thought that was awesome, cus that wasnt actually CGI at the close up, that was really good creature effects. But yeh nice little joke to make the point :))

. This is the new version, they banned the dodgy CG from the old one and replaced it with this far more realistic version :)

I hate and loathe stupid wanna be interpretations by geeky followers of movies on Youtube (well most of them, there are some that are actually quite good). This is what I was expecting, to laugh at the shear serious stupidity of some fan. However, this was ingenious... I laughed my a-s off. Finally, someone with humor. Great video. @1czelaya Yeah ageed, although people will still refer to it as Alien 5. If anything it should be Alien 3 as in our opinion the last two should really be forgotten.

Regarding the prequel. My theory is that the Space Jockeys manufactured the Aliens. If you look closely at the trailer the things that look like eggs are more like plinth's. I reckon they planned the whole thing.

Ever since I saw the first Alien film, I thought the Aliens were too perfect and they were engineered-most likely by the Space Jockey(probably a science, non-violent, explorers) as either a weapon against a more war like civilization. The gun found on the ship was a transport device for eggs across a degree of space. Since Ridley Scott is directing, I hope he resurrects the franchise.

@1czelaya There's an interview somewhere here on Youtube where Ridley Scoyy says the biggest surprise in the film is the story.  Which to me suggest exactly what we suspect. that it's all about the Space Jockeys. With maybe a climax at the end invlocing the birth of the Aliens.

There's also a clip in the trailer where you see the Space Jockey alien rising with another character to its left. Which makes me believe you could be on to something.

prometheus isnt Alien 5. it's set before the events of alien and according to ridley (who hates the sequels) said there will be no 'alien' in it. its a film about the space jockeys.
