I have ridden a few ninja 250's and my wife now owns one and they are a good bike, but they're not that fast. Could this vid be done down hill?? why do a speed run of a night with the camera so close to speedo and not show the surroundings? im not convinced. Do another vid of a day and show us that you are on a flat level road. Show us, convince us. cheer's

DUHH! but seriously, 0-100kph (equivalent to 0-60mph) was done in just under 7 seconds. i've seen someone do a 7.2 0-100kph (or 0-60mph) and they weighed 210lbs, very little experience. someone weighing something like 150lbs with decent riding skills can pull of 0-60mph in just under 7 secs, which is the fastest you'll ever see a stock ninja 250r go.

@MrBikeboy600 it was 0-100kph (0-60mph) in just under 7 secs. the 0-60mph time on these bikes is like 7.2-7.7 secs. if this was done downhill, then it's entirely possible. if the video showed 0-60mph in less than 5 then i would definitely question it. but this video seems just about right, especially if it was downhill.

Why is it a girls bike? some of us don't have the need or opportunity to go over 120mph. I live in the tennessee mountains, and if you go over 90mph anywhere you wont be able to slow down enough before re-enacting the ET flight. weighs somewhere around 370lbs and handles better than anything. 0-60 in 5 seconds is fast, even for a 250. I dont think it is the best bike, I rode my buddys r6, it's fuckin sweet. But I think 250s are sweet. He'll even tell you, he can't use his r6 here. The only place you can go over 100mph is 45 minutes away and it's radared 24/7. You can talk shit about 250s all you want, but the cold truth is they handle better than heavier bikes they aren't the fastest bikes but they are fast, and you're ignorant to deny it.

i have this problem , my ninja250r , when anyone is seated on my rear seat due to the weight of the person . the rear brake lever just simply goes down when i try to brake with out applying any brakes, so its dangerous for me to drive in traffic .anyone having the same problem ?????? i tried to do the monoshock setting by making it to the last level but now if some one weighin 80kg again the brakes dont work... my bike is just a yr old and this :-(

With motorbikes its quite different when it comes to 1st gear e.g. compared to cars. I have heard of some bikes that can do about 100 MPH in 1st gear haha, just depends on the bike really :)
