Bird may not have all the tools and athletic ability that Jordan has... but keep this in mind. Against Bird, Jordan has won 11 games, lost 23 and never beat Bird in the playoffs. And that was after Bird had past his prime. IMO, MJ is the greatest ever. What he did for the sport is undeniable. But Bird is right up there, and is way closer to second than Kobe, Magic, Lebron, or anyone else most people throw out now a days.
