Jack White may have done incredible things before. First Aid kit have also done some wonderfull work. Lets just say that this collaboration didn't bring out the best of both. The fence is rippin my ass to bits!! lol
@OnlySeanJohn You can't compare these versions: Elmore's version is awesome too. and also the one of Karen Dalton wich is interpreted by those two ladies
i hear you with the goose bumps..this is one of my favourites from the blue series...i also have found it difficult to remove it from my turntable...good stuff..
I KNEW there was a reason I lived through 38 operations I am their biggest fan brain damage wheelchair and all! It just doesn't hurt me as much with these ladies serenading me! UglyGirlSingsGood but they blow me away!
I love the vocals on this tune, they get so deep into it I'm getting goosebumps. And the Violin track is off the chain! It's so killer that Jack White produced this too, what more could you ask.
"The day of our show in Nashville, we got a call saying that Jack White wanted us to come to his studio to record. We were stunned and shocked! It was fun to work in a vintage studio where everything was analog. We told Jack, 'This is the first time we've recorded in a proper studio,' and he replied, 'It's all going downhill from here.' He was very quick. He knew exactly what he wanted musically, and we completely agreed with all of his ideas."
Every Morning I listen ''Emmylou''
Every Night ''The lion's roar''
You both make my life easier.
First aid kit I love you ;) <3

I think the vocals should be the focus, not all the playing..... Just my opinion.

I love both First Aid Kit and Jack White, and I was very happy when I heard that they were going to cooperate. This is brilliant!
