  • awesome vid! I had a biz trip in Jacksonville, and was able to take an extra day to spend in Folkston and it was great. It was almost non-stop from 5am to 1pm, but there was actually a big lull between 1pm and 5pm. I'm thinking it was a window for a MOW or something because other than that there were a ton of trains

  • yes this is a good place. the have like a picnic style set up here with restrooms, a grill and also a scanner you can listen to.

    they call it the Folkston funnel. about 100 trains a day through here including NB & SB Silver Star's and Silver Meteor's and the NB & SB Auto train
