  • Your video helped me fix my Roomba. Thanks!

  • I took apart and used can of air to clean, I then put it back together and it ran for about five min then started the dance again, Now it seems to only work for a couple of min. but when I blow off with air works for a few min then back to taking apart again. There is bound to be a permant fix

  • Looks pretty simple! Love the music.

  • I had the same problem. Just order a repair kit from eesolutions.ca and it should be working like new in no time.!!!!!

  • I just clean my robot it had the same problem, what I found was a large amount of dust and hair inside the wheel compartment. the wheel compartment needs to be disassemble to clean out the inside.

  • Почистил свой также, помогло. Спасибо.

  • sick tune.

  • If you are comfortable with soldering iron you can repair it yourself. If you have the 5xx/6xx Roomba you can by the 2 IR LEDs and repair it. Search eBay for Roomba Cliff Sensor Repair Kit.

  • Have you ever heard of Osmo? Hope for old roombas! Get an osmo, look it up on iRobot, it may be the software needs debugging, and an osmo could install new unbugged software.

  • For the newer models, it can caused by a bad cliff sensor or a damaged transistor on the circuit board. I repair these in the UK and 20% of my customers issue relates to the transistor. But good video.

  • this is caused by dust build up these are the old versions only worth £10 the newer versions dont have this problem due to the fact they are sealed properly you could buy anothere one there only £!0 or the newer ones

  • I have heard just hitting them with compressed air works just as well, but I tried with a can of air for dusting your computer and it didn't work.

  • I just fixed my Roomba thanks to you! Thank you!

This is also a very good song, what song is this?

  • THIS IS THE LONG WAY OF HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS RESET THE ROBOT.

To Rest- Remove battery and hold power button for 5 seconds!

    Piece-o-cake

  • You look like you know what you are doing! Can I send mine to you? They are both doing the same thing. I'm in California...

And btw - I like your music. You have many talents! :)

  • @messinakleinman

Unfortunately I am from another side of the world :(

  • A cliff sensor is probably blocked. Try cleaning all of them and then try it.

  • Next time, go slower and narrate. Don't just whip through it with German music.

  • Actually the music is not German, but Slovene and I am also the author of the music and lyrics :)

  • @ahanix1988 I liked the music,,But I believe your problem is a data problem(as I'm sure you know)..and the sensor has to be replaced...Does this Roomba seem to rotate in one direction more often than not?...Just wondering..And if so would it not reason that one sensor is telling the processor that something(( is)) that is not..As again you must know!!! so if you could use a varible voltage resistor or the like could you not replace the data and see if (one ) sensor is the main problem?

  • For anyone having problems google "Roomba Diagnostic Mode".

**Warning only use diagnostic mode if your roomba is out of warranty as this will void it for some odd reason**

  • This problem is either coming from the cliff sensors or the bumper sensor. the cliff sensors are easy to clean. The bumper sensor is located under the hood so you'll have to remove the shell again. The bumper has one sensor on the left and another on the right side. locate those two and check for dust buildup. compressed air didnt work for me so i had to use tweasers to clean the clogged sensor. Works like a charm now.

  • I really appreciate this video cause I cant find repair options for my roomba. I hope Roxy makes a complete series on roomba repairs!

Thanks Roxy! I'm going to try this repair even though this isn't my exact problem.
