Is he wrong about the prosperity during that time frame? I will do some research on the health of the natino during that time but it seems that there was a lot of wealth leading up to WW1

Yea but the gilded age wasn't a true free market, as represented by the robber barons

I think his point was that the Gilded Age was a step in the right direction and that the post WWI mindset has sidetracked this. Although I have to say I think he was wrong not to point out government collusion during the Gilded Age.

He doesn't want to legalize drugs, he just wants to leave that up to the states, which is the law according to the Constitution. The federally funded War on Drugs is costing the taxpayers billions of dollars and for what? How am I safer, happier, or wealthier because of it?
