I still have my Spectrum GT bass like the one in this vid 24 years after I got it as a gift from my mom. At the time it was about $425 bran new, and was a step up from the cheapo I started with and I still have it and love it. I can't speak for the other Westone models but the Spec GT has the push-pull switch for phase reversal which cuts out most of the low end for a really bright twang, plus it's got a 3-way switch to change pickup combo and get a range of tones.
@kenv13 dude, there's one of these for sale used a my local gc for like $180!!! then again, it's only a single pickup version w/ only 2 knobs. i don't think it's active either
This bass was made in 1985, the first digit was a 5..... These were made in Japan with the finest tone woods!

how can it be a 70's bass when the Spectrum GT basses were only produced from '85 until '89?

I've got a Westone Spectrum dx bass- it too was really cheap, only £75- do you actually think it's worth much?

Yes, it did indeed come with the push-pull switch, I bought mine bran new in 86 with that switch on it.
