i want mine off SOOO BAD. I have only had them for like a year now, i still dont have my bottom braces on, but i have a retainer for my bottom teeth (kinda weird.) i have had A LOT of pain though, like once, they gave me a dirty wire and i got sick. im getting my bottom braces in a month. lol, i watched when you got ur braces off b4 watching this!

no you dont have to wear bands all the time only if you have an overbite. but if you need braces you probably do have an overbite. i only had to wear the bands for like 1 week.

I was pretty much used to them, due to the fact I had them on from 7th grade until now, && i just graduated. So about 5 yrs i had them on and i honestly could not remember how it felt w/o them. It didnt hurt to get them on but the spacers are aggravating little things!!! My braces were almost $5,000. And get them only if you truly feel you need them not because I was tired of mine. You have to check what u are eating as well, so it wont be all in your braces.

i wasnt wearing my bands, like i never ever wore them. And for entire year, i didn't go to the Orthodontist, yea gross right! So, i finally grew up and decided to go back in January...and then i startd to wear them finally.
