actually bud......yes VVT-I is toyota but the only the pontiac vibe has VVT-I engine, and the vibe is the only joint co-op btwn them. , the eco-tech 2.0 turbo and 2.4 are both made in germany by gm's opel brand and the 2.4 is the only gm engine one that uses VVT. the vibes VVT-I 2.2 and 2.4 are not the same engines as gm's eco-techs 2.2 and 2.4.
