Laraque is a fat steroid using wrestler. He's listed at 253, but is closer to 270. He is a 4th line waste of a roster spot. and since the Habs signed him, they've gone downhill. Laraque may be the champ, but Lucic is one of about 10 fighters in the league that could hold their own with Laraque. Hell, I've seen Shawn Thornton beat Laraque!

No ei tietenkään ole. Chara ja Laraque on ihan omassa sarjassaan jo kokonsa ansiosta, ei löydy montaa kaveria koko NHL:stä jotka kykenisi edes säädyllisesti ottamaan näiltä kavereilta turpaan.

It was a distasteful hit. Absolutely no doubt about it. But I wouldn't go so far and say he avoided Laraque - at least in this situation. Oh and to answer why a non enforcer should fight an enforcer...when a non enforcer gives a pussy elbow to the head of another player he should get an ass whooping by an enforcer, want it or not. That is why they are called ENFORCERS. Bouillon jumped him too fast and should have left the stage to BGL to teach the prick a leason. Ruutu did not hold back in this fight...Bouillon is arguably the strongest member of the Habs (Laraque included). The guy is a freaking tank and if he did not have such short arms and all he could easily be one of the top enforcers in the league. He has the strength for it but not the reach. If Ruutu got in striking range he would have been demolished. He was smart and weathered the storm.
