I disagree. Tyler grew up in Forks and probably knew, like evryone else, that the roads were icy that day. He was being stupid. If you drive a car, you have to be in relatively complete control. Bella's is Charlie's ONLY daughter, so of course he's gonna freak. Edward would probably have acted the same way further into the series, knowing how protective he is.

i love how carlisle walks in, he's not stiff like most doctors. like i was in the hospital back in april 2008 and most of the doctors looked like they were in effing PAIN they all had the 'jasper look' and then there was one and he was really nice and easy to talk to and he was the only one who i could really be honest with about how i felt. carlisle's SO cool i wish he was my dad.
