I have the 450 Everything Plan so I pay $69.99 and get 450 day time mins (7am-7pm) and then unlimited access to all sprint has to offer...(Sprint TV, Sprint Music, Sprint Nav, Web Browsing, Text Messaging, Vid & Pic Messaging etc.)

I had the diamond as well as did not like having to rely solely on the virtual keyboard....sometimes it can be a real pain in the ass.....so in my opinion yes the keyboard alone makes the Touch Pro worth getting over the diamond...not to mention the expandable memory up to 32 gig MicroSDHC.

When typing you have to hit the small arrow next to the text input button at the bottom of the screen. Once you have done that you will be able to choose between the different ways of typing on screen with the virtual keyboard.

whats the difference between the opera thing and internet explorer

Opera allows you to view real web sites the way they were intended to be viewed....it supports javascript, ajax, as well as flash lite if you install it separately. Internet explorer is not bad however it is much slower at loading pages then opera and also displays REAL web sites very poorly.

is it chrome on plastic or chrome on metal of the housing of the phone?

Unfortunately it is just plastic that is painted with a nice chrome finish. It would've been sweet to have real metal but I'm still extremely happy with this phone!!! :)

In my opinion the battery life on this phone is marginal...I can go about 8 hrs before I'm in the red...This phone is extremely powerful so you have to take that into consideration...on a side note the phone still gets warm from use but not quite as hot as the Touch Diamond.

i have a touch pro but the battery life sucks, just give me like 3 hours, and it get very hot, im thinking to turning it back to the store.....

when you are in the opera browser and go to a website, if you click on a link on that page will it open another window? curious.

Actually in order to open another window you press and hold the link until a small menu pops up that lets you open in a new tab. Think right click except you cant right click on a touch based phone :-)...oh and only 3 tabs are allowed to be open at one time.

this is a fantastic phone ,cant wait to get it,my contract just ran out in september with sprint so im all good,love everything about this phone,makes the iphone look like junk..
