side effects? Are you kidding? You are very misinformed, or very healthy, one or the other. People don't overdose from smoking weed in their sleep, like with Ambien, valium, oxycoden, etc. cocktails.
Side effects of marijuana can include pulminary problems from smoke inhalation, lack of motivation and drive, and thought processes are compromised slightly. Now these issues are primarily for users and do go away after a few weeks of being clean. I support full legalization, but don't be dishonest about side effects. Nothing intoxicating out there will be free from side effects.
THC pills are pills. They work amazingly for my nausea & other symptoms I experience from having cancer. NO SMOKE inhalation at all. They also have vaporizers which deliver the marijuana with no smoke in the lungs as well, instead of smoking it, but I like the pills. I guess my spice rack in my kitchen w/ herbs can give me side effects too if I really think about it, and coffee & caffeine jitters from not having my morning coffee

I am a young breast cancer survivor, & have been suffering from nausea, pain, insomnia, weight loss, & fatigue. All the regular prescription drugs suck, & make me feel worse, with side effects. I now have a prescription for pot, and I don't even get necessarily high per-say, it simply gives me a full relief of symptoms. Which is in my opinion, a miracle.

3-4 puffs if it is good quality. depends on how much THC there is. and per session is usually 1 day. it's the safest therapeutically active substance known to mankind, in its 8,000 years of use not 1 person has EVER died from it. it's intoxic to humans. daily use can create mild respritory problems such as bronchitis (as mentioned earlier) but never cancer. so i find it a bit difficult to call it dangerous considering it is non lethal on all levels.

the deaths you stated are from a very rare allergic reaction, such allergic reactions can result from anything, varying from apples to poptarts. deaths can and do occur while someone attempts to do something dangerous while intoxicated on marijuana, however, but i think responsible use should be tolerated in america, just like alcohol is.

Side effects of marijuana can include pulminary problems from smoke inhalation, lack of motivation and drive, and thought processes are compromised slightly. Now these issues are primarily for users and do go away after a few weeks of being clean. I support full legalization, but don't be dishonest about side effects. Nothing intoxicating out there will be free from side effects.

THC pills are pills. They work amazingly for my nausea & other symptoms I experience from having cancer. NO SMOKE inhalation at all. They also have vaporizers which deliver the marijuana with no smoke in the lungs as well, instead of smoking it, but I like the pills. I guess my spice rack in my kitchen w/ herbs can give me side effects too if I really think about it, and coffee & caffeine jitters from not having my morning coffee

I just went and spoke before the Maryland General Assembly telling them my story. It worked. Bill passed. Sorry for the smokers, but now there's another $1.00 tax added on to cigarette taxes for you. The money is going to fund free public health care in the state of Maryland for people like me, diagnosed with freaking breast cancer at age 26 (no family history, I don't smoke, & was misdiagnosed because I was told I was too "young" for cancer. I am a young breast cancer survivor, & have been suffering from nausea, pain, insomnia, weight loss, & fatigue. All the regular prescription drugs suck, & make me feel worse, with side effects. I now have a prescription for pot, and I don't even get necessarily high per-say, it simply gives me a full relief of symptoms. Which is in my opinion, a miracle.

Wen i stopped smoking before school i lost my focus and my grades slipped. I couldnt tell my parents it was from not being high every morning so i recieved adorol... generic meth made by my doctors? this may be true, however consider the amount of marijuana smoke inhaled compared to tobbaco. with marijuana there is no chain smoking, because a person will smoke until satisfied, which can in some cases be achieved in only 3-4 puffs. tobbaco smokers can smoke a few packs a day, so say 40 cigarettes, when the average marijuana smoker only smokes on weekends, so about 50 a year. also it has not once caused lung cancer, there is no recorded case of that happening.

3-4 puffs if it is good quality. depends on how much THC there is. and per session is usually 1 day. it's the safest therapeutically active substance known to mankind, in its 8,000 years of use not 1 person has EVER died from it. it's intoxic to humans. daily use can create mild respritory problems such as bronchitis (as mentioned earlier) but never cancer. so i find it a bit difficult to call it dangerous considering it is non lethal on all levels.

if you can find a recorded death due to marijuana let me know. google "annual drug deaths". the most common was tobbaco, with around 400,000, alcohol was second, then it was prescription drugs and the other drugs you would expect such as heroine, meth and cocaine. marijuana was at the very bottem with a big fat 0 next to it.

It also states that tho only 3 (NOT 0) deaths occured from marijuana directly, many more deaths were caused (from other situations) from a chemical in marijuana, which was like 600 something. So, marijuana DID kill 3 in 2001, but it has a good chance at killing more.

the deaths you stated are from a very rare allergic reaction, such allergic reactions can result from anything, varying from apples to poptarts. deaths can and do occur while someone attempts to do something dangerous while intoxicated on marijuana, however, but i think responsible use should be tolerated in america, just like alcohol is.

I dont smoke, but the reason it is illegal is what bothers me. Because the government cant find a way to regulate it and tax it. What a person does in the privacy in their own homes, as long as it doesent harm others, should be their business, not the governments. These laws are just another way to control people and gain revenue. I dont think marijuana being natural should be a deciding factor on whether or not its harmful or not. I mean, tobaccos natural too, but that sure as hell isn't good for you. I also realize that smoking anything isn't great for your body, but weeds not going to do any long term, or lethal damage to your body.
