  • Catherine Schell reminds me of Sharon Tate. She looks a little like her. Also LOL at Gadbois & his mustache.

  • I remember the actress in this scene, Catherine Schell, promoting the film on talk shows. She said many scenes required repeated takes because she, the other cast members and the crew would break up at Sellers' improvs.

  • this is the best ever!! i put it in my favorites and watch it over and over. peter sellers forever!!!

  • Incredible, watching it over and over again with tears running down my face laughing!!! Thank you so much for sharing this genius by the name of Peter Sellers with us!

  • TOO GOOD

  • Guy Gadbois sounds IDENTICAL to Christopher Lambert, especially when he's laughing.

  • One of the funniest scenes EVER in any movie EVER produced. He was so funny, she couldn't do this take without laughing. I remember reading on this back in the early 80's and they said they did this scene multiple times but she got worse with every scene. That my friends is comedy. Peter Sellers was incredible in the entire series.

  • This is the best part of all Clouseau movies.

  • Never gets old. Ever. Of all the comedies I've seen in my life, Return of the Pink Panther makes me laugh out loud, whether watching it alone or with a friend, my sides split with wonderful laughter.

  • She's actually laughing at him on the set!! LOL He's so funny!!

  • You little yellow swine kato!

  • I would be cracking up also LOL

  • @LoZOoTSaga A better question is who didn't notice?

  • Agree- absolutely priceless; Catherine Schell is so beautiful too! Wish movies were this funny today.

  • @67tomcat Funny, I´m a -67 too.

  • Why do I get the feeling that her laughter is for real?

  • It so has to be. She's definitely cracking up

  • @Gorrrillla5 peter sellers may you RIP..

great role he ever did for this LEGACY pink panther.

sadly STEVE MARTIN has ruined it but inventing SILLY american childish Humour which has ruined it.

people like us who grew up wathcing this will always know::::

PETER SELLERS was the best ever !!

  • Nobody else on the face of this earth could have pulled this off better than Peter Sellers. I will watch his movies until the day I die!

  • This is such a great film! Is there a soundtrack with this awesome 70's music? When his elbow slips off the pillow after saying, "very interesting" looks like something i would have done during my single dating years! lol

  • Miss Litton is clearly overly amused by the not so efficient master of disguise!

  • LOL!!! I love Guy Gadbois and want to have his babies!!

  • Would you think it naughty of me if I bought you a drink?...

    But you already have...

    i know that, i know...

  • "Kahlua and Ginger Ale"...so very Clouseau :)

  • "Well....here is a-leuking at yeau, keed."

God, the damn smile-eye squint he keeps doing is what clenches it....and half the mustache missing.

  • It's so obvious that the woman in this is laughing for real. Peter Sellers was an absolute genius, thanks for posting.

  • A ha ha ha... I can't stop laughing!!! I have wanted to see this scene 0:36!!!

    STRONG PUNCH like Rocky...

  • Guy Gadbois is the most perfect alter ego of Clouseau. 10000000 Thanks for uploading this

  • nobody spits game like clouseau, and lol at the girl, she is def actually laughing at what sellers is doing and they just decided to keep the shot

  • I agree. She's wetting herself!

  • Actually when Catherine Schell is laughing at him I don't think she was acting at all, I think she genuinely was in hysterics at Sellers acting and the choking on her drink and Sellers slapping her on the back look unscripted but was accepted as the final take because the scene was too good to cut.

  • I think Catherine Schell even needed to act when she laughed.

Btw, I sometimes introduce myself to strangers as "Guy Gadbois".

Funnier still when Dreyfus later calls and asks:"Monsieur Gadbois??" out of utter disbelief and then gives Clouseau a clue who he is talking to.

  • Here is lookin good at you kid....magic!

  • i kneu i kneu

  • 1:52 "Oh the plastic uha" and the final line ROFL

  • @shishyupal The final line is so hilarious, because it is a line made famous by Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca" in a melodramatic moment.

  • I saw this in Montreal when I was 12, It stuck with me over the years so I decided to make Guy Gadbois the lead singer in my band, 34 rears later.

Classic Peter Sellers, the twitching and squinting are hilarious, the way he tries to pry the info out of Lady Litton, pure genius.

  • This is brilliant. I wished they had just left the whole Inspector Clouseau classics alone - they were perfect.

I've watched the new Pink Panther films with Steve Martin and tried to like them because in the past I have liked many of Steve Martins movies (The Jerk etc) but to be perfectly honest the new Panther movies are very poor and just not funny at all ... I dunno? I feel that the new Inspector Clouseau has been 'dumbed down' .

Whereas Peter Sellers version was shere comical genius.

  • Amen to that, Steve Martin is a comic genius but no one will ever be able to play Jacques Clouseau half as well as Peter Sellers.

  • @Slartiebartfast steve martin sucks so much. in everything, not just pink panther

  • Did he order a kahlua and ginger ale?

  • He certainly did, and I've forced myself to drink this vile concoction several times in honour of the one & only Guy Gadbois.

Drink it at Palace Hotel in Gstaad and feel 100% Guy Gadbois!

  • superfantasticbravisimo!!!

  • "A man sees a beautiful cheeken, he can not help but to be inquisitive yeau kneau."

    Guy Gadbois FTW!

  • Brian,

As usual you are a genius and the only man I know who can spell the way Clouseau would pronounce his words. You are brilliant and have fantastic taste, sir. The inept bumbling mustached karate chopping Clouseau. Kahluuuuaa and ginngggerrrr allllle.

  • @bps3013 as usual you perfectly pronounce exactly how clouseau says everything. Brilliant to say the least. A genius imitating a genius.

  • Guy Gudbois rulez

  • What ever happened to Catherine Schell? I heard she lives in Europe somewhere. Switzerland? She was mia in Space 1999 and a very pretty lady.

  • Catherine Schell

  • I love this - thanks so much for uploading it!

Does anyone know what the background music is called? That makes me smile almost as much as Guy Gadbois!

  • The synth and guitar track is called "Disco", and the easy vocal tune is "The Greatest Gift", both are by Henry Mancini.

  • @lucindamf both songs in the clip are by Henry Mancini, not sure of the song names

  • @lucindamf the slow music is called "The Greatest Gift".

  • Epsen,

As usual you have done it again. YOu have managed to showcase an unposted scene of many (hysterical) of the bumbling moustached karate chopping clouseau. Kudos to you and here's looking at yooouuuuuu kidddd. Great job and many thanks and much appreciated.

  • This clip is hysterical every time I see it, particularly Peter Sellers' riddiculous disguise and how the actress can't keep a straight face. The "Here is looking at you kid" line makes me bust a gut every time.
