Haven't played the game before, but I hear all the time that the original sound track is much better than the actual game. So far of what I've heard this is definitely an amazing soundtrack.

@tom5coat They lied. While people and reviewers will bitch and moan about the graphics the fact is that Nier certainly deserves a soundtrack of this caliber.

@Duanathar well after finishing the game a second time i retract my statement about the story being so-so. Its still not my favorite squareenix game but it beats the hell out of FFXIII. I loved the game-play and would really enjoy a sequel(and yes i know what happens on ending D, they can still make a sequel if they wanted to).

@jstealth89 It's possible, but unlikely. Cavia has been disbanded. Apparently getting a 34/40 from Famitsu isn't good enough for AQ Interactive.

@Duanathar thats a shame, people don't know what good games are anymore. Funny how this game got a 7/10 by IGN but Call of Duty gets a 9.5/10 those games are exactly the same if you played 4 you played them all.

@jstealth89 funny how you say people don't know what good games are these days, nier is definitly up in my list of top ten games, but tbh even if ff13 isn't up that high i wouldnt say it beat the hell out of it. FF13 is still a great game, as a standalone game people would have called it an epic revolution of next gen gaming, but since its ff people expect it to be open world etc, they forget ffX was just as linear and didn't even have the graphics or storyline to back up the game like 13 did.

@dandacky07 I have played every FF except 1-3 and 13 has to be one of the worst, the plot was extremely predictable even for a Final Fantasy game and kinda boring, and the characters were divided between very interesting Sazsh, Lightning and extremely annoying Snow, Vanille. The game play was ok but i preferred FFXII game-play. The story for FFX and FFVII was a hell of a lot better, and so were the characters, everyone is entitled to their opinion not trying to dis.
