Man how did I miss this one? You reviewed a beer brewed literally in my back yard!
I reviewed this with Two Guys on Beer and we though it was good, not great. I'd like to drink it again (and preferably a little colder) to accurately asses it.
The last time I went up to Hoptown (or something similar) Ca. I thought all their beers tasted similar.
Although Mendincino Brewing may be one of the original microbreweries, that were federally allowed in the seventies, a company from India bought them out.
I'm not sure if they still own Mendincino Brewing I just remember that the only beer allowed to be exported to India is the IPA style (that may have changed).

I think you may be right about their ownership (India). The beer was good and I'll try their other one's over time
