  • Im trying to figure out how much playwood sheets did you use? and its that necessary to use marine playwood.... or only standard playwood with a coated marine paint ?????

  • @AkeroProduction

Hi I used 2 sheets of Waterproof plywood. 6 mm

    Size 250X122. cm

The boat is rather small, If you want to make it bigger you would have to connect

    2 sheets.

I think if you use normal plywood, and paint it well, it will do as well.

  • can it hold an engine?

  • @batteryman54

It could...but only a small one like 2 hp or one of these little electric ones

  • How much playwood sheets did you use for this boat?

  • wow its amazing, i want oune too

  • No not pipe, I used PVC cloth. It the kind you find on truck covers or the bigger party tents.

I bought it at a sailmaking shop.

  • thanks for sharing...great video

Can you provide some details..type of PVC, type of glue etc. Do you have a plan someone can follow?

  • Hi,

The flexible PVC I use you can find on trucks or trailer covers, it is very strong and watertight.

On the glue I did a lot of testing. I used a waterproof contact glue ( Pattex Transparent) This joins the PVC and wood very strong, no additionally locking strips needed.

The design is based on the Handy Andy.

I did not follow the plan exactly, I just started building, as I said Learning by doing.

Just go for it, it is fun
