Mac , Your are great guy . I am studying medicine and i tell you i really enjoyed your presentation . U could be a great teacher . I also admire your courage and I am sure you can tell us about other muscular dystrophies because i think you must have done lot of reading and research .
My husband too has BMD. He is turning 40, and has been in a wheel chair for 15 years. He was diagnosed at age 9. He is now battling respiratory distress, and severe congestive heart failure. next on the docket, a trach. Thank you for putting yourself out there for the world to learn from. There are many people that will benefit from your knowledge.
My Biological Psychology book claims that Beckers muscular dystrophy gives you an advatage as opposed to other types of muscular dystrophy. It also claims that many athletes benefit from this. :S I guess thats not the case...
