YUCK!! These types of vehicles are the same crap that is gonna be shoved at us in response to the economy/bailouts (ex: GM). Forget this crap, give me my V8. Let me burn my gas as I want to. Lawnmowers with wheels SUCK! American muscle, while expensive, IS FUN (even when gas is at $4 a gallon)! Everytime I see one of these "smart" cars, I literally want to push them over on their side. These cars are asking for a beating, ESPECIALLY by my International CXT plows into it at 45MPH!

the problems with with american cars. is that they put V8 in verything...and most of them are petrol, this is why in europe we have lots of 4 cilinder cars.....we have lots of diesel, and lots of smarts....and we save on fuel and we dont damage so much nature....but the olny thing that the american dont have is the hot version of the smart...the 100 hp Brabus smart! My had owns a 2002 smart (the old model)

Shifter knob defect. They sent a guy from Smart to our garage, who worked on it all day; then the dealer arranged to haul it to Bloomington and shipped it back repaired to our home on Friday. Works better than ever. Great customer service.
