But they changed it in the official english version so it rhymes and makes sense.

wow first i wanted to make a comment about how funny they brought the donkey down, but then i saw that you all aren't german. this is great that at least a little bit of our german stars get over to foreign countries. but -like some guys mentioned it- there is no way wir sind helden could thing in english. their esprit and charme are part of the language and that's not possible in english. i am sorry about my opinion -.-

Sie sind zwar meine Helden! I just wish they could break into the English-speaking mainstream, like Rammstein (another favourite German band of mine) did! People are really missing out. The whole album was great, and their music isn't normally my thing (could you guess that when i mentioned Rammstein? ;)) Weiter so, Wir sind Helden!

@ crazyalbino: No, but english is compulsory subject for every student in Germany. Above all, learning english is comparatively easy for german native speakers because english is closely related to german, but it's structure is more easy ;)

depends on the school. on a "gymnasium" (german highschool) the pupils usually have to learn 3 more languages. i learned english, french and latin

these guys are really good. we have a german exchange student living with my family and this was one band she got me into. there great and its great too that her dad is this big guy in germany that knows the band. got some signed stuff from them and whatever. Juli is also a cool band to look into.
