Simply the best and his performance is so memorable especially, as has been said before, the Ahoy recording. Its a pity that this recording is slightly marred by an over enthusiastic audience.

@1BeeJenks The Ahoy recording is great because it is the closest anyone will come to seeing the way Steve Balsamo performed this in the show itself. No recording exists of his performance in the actual show which is a great shame, It was the most emotionally draining experience I have ever had. Outside of real life of course.

@Heyerkat - You were so lucky to have been at the show. Wish I had been. Its a shame that we don't seem to hear much about Steve Balsamo these days and he is actually from my country of Wales.

@1BeeJenks Yes, it is a great shame. His only performances since his bands split have been with Jon Lord and those have been away from the UK. Only performance in UK was at the Sunflower Jam recently. Was at it. It was such a joy to hear him sing again. If you go to his website you will get lots of info as Steve regularly posts on there and keeps us up-to-date with what he is doing. Which these days seems to be writing and recording with various others.
