  • i thought he was going to squat it for a second

  • there's probably a counter weight on the other side!

  • Extreme Russian strength.

  • Comment removed

  • This is Russia... what safety are you talkink about a-holes??

  • russian power fuck usa!

  • You lame brained idiots have no IDEA...this man is a doctor. 30 years ago, he suffered a spinal injury and was told he would never walk again. He rehabilitated HIMSELF...then got an MD. then went back in the circus for a time. Able bodied people have no clue...they can't comprehend

  • Classic Circus Performer, what you don't see in the back is the counter weight balancing the car on the fulcrum of the lever its on. You people are pathetic.

  • fake

  • Настоящий Русский богатырь, не стероидный и не анаболичный, посмотрите на его тело, у него нет огромных рельефных мышц, у него всё тело широкое, большое ! Уважаю его !

  • Leverage it's a hell of a concept

  • @WSMStrength have u ever heard of wolves law? check it out, you will change your mind about what you just said

  • He must have been a couple inches shorter after that!

  • In sovjet Russia, car rides you.

  • yea they supposed to but in mother Russia

  • yes but it is real. THis man holds many world records. He is the only human to "walk" with over 2000 lbs on his shoulders. Remember in World strong man competitions-they walk with 800-900 lbs . He also can "juggle" 90 pound streel balls and holds a no strap raw world record deadlift of 460 kg . His walk out , squat and walk back to rerack 1000 lb squat with "no spotter" has never been duplcated.

  • Какойто бред.

  • are you idiots??? he holds just one side of the car. when strongman do car deadlift they lift ~200kg. so he isnt holding 1000kgs, more likely about 300kg

  • @wowgd9 but this man holds many world records . And his physique is deceiving. He is an old time naturally gifted strong man. Like Louis Cyr. Louis Cyr looked like an overweight out of shape person except for his 28 inch calves and his 20-22 inch arms.

  • @wowgd9 No, the car deadlifts for Strongmen are typically between 280 and 320kg. He isn't holding the whole weight of the car, but it's definitely more than 300kg.

  • Nice panties.

  • Guy from the hangover? ha

  • and i think that you dont know anything about lifting

  • valentin dikul is one of best former gymnast that never say no to life!!!! he felt from 13meters hight and broke he's all body and because he wanted to continue living and work in circus he did everything that takes to reabilitate his body to perfom!!! he even got he's own reabilitation center in moscow which helps people without hope to walk!!!! he extraordinery person

  • Strength acts do require strength, but not at the claimed super human level. Many men and even women in the 19th to early 20th century made a living with such displays. Of course, they were considerably stronger than the average person, but their feats had more to do with the proper application of physics principles than being freaks of nature.

  • umm he held the car,..... he did no actual lifting, .............. if he would have bent his knees and stood back up i would have been more impressed

  • There is no way in hell that I'm going to buy into the idea of his 1170kg RAW total, but this stunt may actually not be that unrealistic. Considering the positioning of the car in relation to its pivot point, the weight on his shoulders might be at around 1100 lbs or something. There is more than one person out there who could lock that out for 4 inches or so and then hold it for a few seconds.

  • @slauge seems like your the only person here talking sense mate the world record squat is 1260 init and i know boltons done over 1200 so just holding that weight on your shoulders would be easy for them. its all a blag no way is this joker got an 1170 total

  • youtube.com/watch?v=VDmdMMsYazI

    @slauge

  • Whats up with those maxipants?

  • exactly how was he gonna get away if he started to go down.

  • @thommark123 Steroids don't work like that. All steroids do is improve your strength and muscle gains while shortening your recovery and injury time. They're not magic. It doesn't matter how hard I train and how many steroids I take, I will never be able to run as fast as Emmitt Smith. Athleticism is 80% genetic. If it wasn't then anyone could take steroids and walk onto a pro sports team.

  • circus freak...

  • If this were real, wouldn't they need to have taken some kind of safety measures, no matter how strong the man was.

Anything could have happened, and the car would have fallen on him causing a gruesome mess.

I'd say the car was gutted, it is just a circus after all.

  • the Man is legit 100%

and the stunt is lethal dangerous

the hood's hot and the tank's full

    you can smell the exhaust

    and yes

    NO safety

    the whole thing IS real

  • @Domkratos I suppose you think his 1170kg Raw total was real too?

  • @SteveMiller88

    dead right

  • @Domkratos Wrong.............Wheres the proof?.......This guy is a old bird who needs to get shot down.

  • @Domkratos his 1170 kg total is the biggest fake in history. the guy might be able to bench 400 pounds if he is lucky and might be able to squat or deadlift 600 pounds. but even that I would doubt. he is a fake.

  • @bench595 the biggest fake in the history is your social security number you idiot. This guy is legit, always been and well known in Europe. Just because you haven't see him in your local Walmart doing stunts doesn't mean he ain't real. Back in 70's and 80's he was the man.

  • @juliesteve wrong, he has videos on youtube where he lifts more weight than the world records. gee, i wonder why he doesnt hold the world records? he is well known as the biggest fake around. nuff said.

  • @juliesteve You honestly think that this old fart has a 1170kg raw total? Why isn't this man mentioned at all in the powerlifting/strongman world. Even if he has not competed, he still should have recognition if those lifts were legit.

    Merry Christmas.

  • @SteveMiller88 his total really was legit. he simply didnt do it in competition. he did it for guiness. therefor it isnt recognized

  • @str94100 What makes you think it is legit?

This guy is an insult to the people who do it for real.

I can't stand it that there are people that think this clown has the "record" for the raw total, when there are people out there devoting their life and body to lifting.

  • @SteveMiller88 first of all theres no reason to be an asshole. second, im one of those people, and i seriously doubt you do much. third, theres alot of guys who can lift ridiculous weight that dont really give a shit about whether its officiated

  • @str94100 Don't see how I'm being an asshole. I'm, just not oblivious.

  • @SteveMiller88 there are powerlifters who have done it.

  • @luciphoenix Not raw.

  • @SteveMiller88 right now there is a 20 year old, atg squatting raw 800 pounds. his name is pat mendes. watch the vid on youtube.

  • @SteveMiller88 This guys right, no one would do the lifts he does with no spotter etc, its just not how you play the game, mad props to him as a showman though.

  • @SteveMiller88 what safety are you talking about? This is Russia, no one cares about safety.

  • @SteveMiller88 Baby, this isn't USA Wallmart safety outfit, this is Russia in early 80s. No security measures whatsoever. Circus has been always very dangerous a deadly.

  • @SteveMiller88

the main point is not even the fact that he is holding that much weigth.

The MAIN point is that he is doing is with BROKEN BACK.

He broke his back in 60-ties while was working in circus as flying acrobat and was paralyzed from waist down. purely by strength training and against doctors opinions he trained his spinal muscles to support his body where spinal column cannot.

All his stunts and records are not to impress youtube watchers, but to motivate other paralyzed people.

  • @carcass456 Sure it sounds like a great story, great motivation and inspiration for someone recovering from serious injuries. Dikul was a good showman, that's it. He just isn't as strong as he is portrayed.

The big giveaway was his 1170kg, which was done raw. Doing that is unheard of. He shakes way too much during his squat, no 1000lb squatter has a core that weak to shake like that.

  • @SteveMiller88

his spine is broken, this is the whole point. of course he shakes.

He is not your typical healthy PowerLifter. He is the guy who trained himself from paralysis.

and consider this: his main achievement is helping paralyzed people to WALK AGAIN. The guy who can do THAT - why would he even consider cheating with weights? to impress some schoolboys ??

check the article on TimesOnline about Dikul.

  • @carcass456 So you're telling me the only man to deadlift 1000lbs raw on the planet has a broken back?

Doing that would impress more than "schoolboys". It should astonish the world, but do you know why it hasn't? Because he didn't do it, it was all a show.

Saying that he holds an unofficial world record is more of an insult to the people who train their asses off everyday.

  • @SteveMiller88

You are so unbelievably ignorant, I recommend you start listening to what reasonable people have to say instead of saying that this is not real because you can not believe it or do not want it to be true.

  • @SteveMiller88

Don't you think that he shakes because he is much older then typical lifter, and the weight is slightly bigger then any typical lifter has lifted?

  • @pon4ick27 Yup you're right.

  • @SteveMiller88

    Glad you agree. Peace :)

  • people die in circus shows you stupid of course its real. because yo cant do it it doesnt mean tht its alie

  • people die in circus shows you stupid of course its real. because yo cant do it it doesnt mean tht its a lie

  • @comispipis I think that you are a stupid person.

  • @SteveMiller88 saying this is fake enables people like you to justify laziness to achieve an accomplishment like this or other goals in life. reminds me of a friend of mine who always get grumpy seeing me working out hard while he prefers relaxing on the couch. those people try to run you down so that they feel better with their lazy conscience

  • @EmotionalShredd Do you follow powerlifting at all?

  • 1000 kg on his shoulders!!! Incredible!!! I tryed it with 400 and almost break my backbone

  • 400 kg means a fully loaded Olympic bar! Way to go, man!

In fact, unlike classic weightlifting percentage workouts, Dikul's unique approach was that he used to max out each training session in order to secure a power margin for his stupendous circus shows, so he actually did it with 2000 kilos!

Просто Дикуль это настоящий былинный герой и живой Русский Богатырь!!!
