I dunno what we use, I think it's either a 3 way setup or a dual 12 or dual 15 setup, but it's nice. I'm thinking of experimenting with that software that Crown offers for their amps (considering that's what we use is an XTi 1000)
I use the Yamaha C115Vs. They really are great speakers. They sound good, especially because I use Yamaha amps, which have the YS Processing. The combination sounds great. I would stay away from the MSR800, I have two of them and I've had a few problems with one of them. I'm not a big fan of powered subs, I'm getting away from them.
Hmm, alright. I'm just working a Gemsound amp right now (kinda have to stay cheap) but I'm probably going to move up to maybe a QSC or Crown amp soon, and get some Yamaha or Peavey bottoms...
Honestly Yamaha makes fantastic amps. I've used QSC and Crowns and I think the Yamahas I've owned are better. Look at the Yamaha S215V the unpowered 2 18 subs, those are great subs. But there damn heavy!
Yeah EV is great quality gear. Both the EV QRX Series and Yamaha Club Series speakers designed and manufactured in the U.S. There built great and sound amazing!
What some people don't understand is that you don't need noise you need to be able to listed to the music . There is no need for a lot of speakers

Our school uses an EV speaker for the football field, and it hasn't cut out on me yet. I've had it blaring pretty damn loud too.
