@LikesCartoons The Hapi is basically a ripoff of PANart's Hang Drum, but the hang drums are much much more expensive, and also rather hard to come by. The Hapi drum comes in any key you want it in.

@metamaggot neither is a drum...what Americans call a "steel drum" is actually named a steel pan, or just pan for short. The Hang by PANArt was designed using the influences of many different instruments, not just the steel pan....

The Hang drum from PanArt is better, but these are more widely available.

I'd rather have the Hang drum as well, but you can't really compare an instrument that sells for $300-500 and one that goes for over $6000 on ebay.

That said, I plan on getting Hapi eventually.
