Zunn will come up next month. it has improved on ahead product. I've got worried that there are so bunch of mp3 player will unveil. samsung/cowon/creative/sony already was show their products. so yp-p3/S9 is already being sell on line.

You won't see the Marketplace menu option unless, I believe, your desktop computer also has the Marketplace option - and it won't have that unless your computer location (set via Control Panel) is set to the United States of America. The Zune team went to great lengths to make things not work properly for people outside the USA. :-(

Try again, or try updating your Zune from a different computer then - I think something's messed up with your computer, because the Zune 3.0 firmware is definitely not off line. :-)

OK, so i have a problem with my zune.

after i updated with the 3.0 update, when i started to listen to music after a few songs or so, my zune would just freeze until it died, nomatter what i did, i couldnt move the screen, nor turn it off

Try re-flashing it...sounds like something went wrong.

First, look up how to do a hard reset, which will restore the original firmware, then dock the Zune and it will re-flash the software on the device to the 3.0 release.

friggin 3.0 somehow got rid of my podcast menu on my actual 4gb zune. How the hell do I get the podcast menu back on the zune? Nobody from the zune-Team on the forums have even gotten back to me.

Re-flash it with the latest firmware. Do a hard reset to go back to the original firmware, then flash it to 3.0. It might take a couple of tries.

I installed a PS3 controller driver to my laptop and now it wont let me connect my zune to my laptop, it makes the zune to connect and disconnect every 2 seconds, do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Funny you should mention this: I was speaking to Zune tech support last Monday and they brought up this exact piece of software and mentioned this problem. I don't know if it's something they can fix - I'd say it's more up to Sony to fix the problem, but I'd be very surprised if they did.

Nope, not unless you can return it to the store you bought it from within 30 days (or whatever their return policy is). Technology always changes, we all know that. And remember that you're Zune 80 will have the same features as the Zune 120, just less storage. But you did get those Premium headphones. ;-)

the zune 120 is going to be the price of the zune 80, and the zune 80 will then have the price changed to the price of the zune 30.

Actually, the Zune 80 is being discontinued - the ones in the channel now will be sold for less than $249 , but after that, it's just the Zune 120 that will be available. Amazon has already stopped selling the Zune 80.

Zune 3.0 update looks cool, although I use my iPhone for music now I might get out my Zune (1st gen) again and update just to try it out.

Seems very easy to manage, and it would of been nice to update the visual style of the interface too

It's pretty amazing that someone with a first gen Zune from 2006 can get this update, for free, and get all new functionality. That's one of the things that I love about the Zune - the team making it continues to deliver value to everyone, not just certain people who bought certain players (like, say, another brand). ;-)

Exactly i'm a way fan of the Zune brand although I don't use it too often. They are affordable, great interface and being able update the firmware is great. I tell ya as soon as my iPhone contract ends i'm back with the Zune
