  • best live performance ever, flawless concert!

  • to be honest, the 80's was full of bands like Def Leppard, cheesy sounding lyrics and guitar solos. But you know what? Def L eppard was easily the best of these bands, without doubt, they were light years ahead of everyone else in this genre...this is just great stuff to sing and dance to...

  • Steve's solo at the end=PERFECT!!!! There will never, ever be another like him. Rock In Peace, White Lightning <3

  • F$%#ing EPIC!!!!!!

  • Great performance!! gotta love this song. I think it's better than the original version, it's like wine 'cause it gets better with time.

  • The "low vocals" are Rick Savage. As far as bitching about Joe "not hitting all of the high notes," why don't you upload YOUR doing it? Let us all hear and see how much better YOU can do. Maybe you should have bought a ticket and bothered to go and see them a time or two or more. The last time that I saw them was on their "Adrenalize" Tour - in the 90s - and guess what? Joe HIT the high notes. In 1988, they didn't have all of the technological "HELP" that the likes of Lady Gaga have today.

  • @covenstead Wait, are you replying to me? Because If you are...I didn't say that at all...but I agree, of course maybe he can't hit the high notes as much as he did, but hey, Joe gets older....that's perfectly normal. He's been singing for 30 years! He's a 50 year old man, and can still sing, bot many can accomplish that... So I agree...

  • @covenstead Calm down. He's just dissapointed that's all, He's not bashing Joe or anyone. Calm down seriously. Jeez I hate the 21st century.

  • greatness

  • 4:08 ... so scary!

  • Steve's solo at the end is truly epic, much more magical then the original ending done by Phil, which is also great.

  • @gravyguy05 I always play the song...steve's way

  • @gravyguy05 I wish to have tabs of that solo.... It's truly epic...

  • @gravyguy05

the studio version ride out is steve also.

  • release this and the rest of the concert as videos and singles on itunes !

  • @trochezsteel Its phil , sav sings much higher than phil , phil has the really low umph vocals

  • @cliffthelightning That's what i thought

  • @trochezsteel Yea that's true becuase to mic close to each other would make a lot of noise

  • @trochezsteel So are you sure? because i wondered the same thing...

  • to bad rick doesn't use his scarab anymore, he probably doesn't even have it, oh well good preformance

  • This is my favorite live version of this song I think I've seen so far.

  • personally i think the low toned bass is better than the cover albums, it makes the song sound heavier, plus the way the guitars are played, the whole 9 yards

  • man i've done a great job with uploading it

    def leppard = badass

  • WayGood.

    =

    TLC

  • in the chorus who is the low vocals? is it sav?

  • @daguitarkid14 hello??? any1??

  • @daguitarkid14 I have no idea, all I know is it isn't Steve, because he was never at a mic. ;P 50:50 question> Phil or Sav

  • @Nic0las11x12 Steve sang from time too time , he was shy because of his notable accent but you can hear his voice very good on wasted ( dortmund 1983 and the sudio version) he also does vocals on gods of war

Btw i can play steve's part of this song!

  • @cliffthelightning Yes, I know, clearly to hear on Wasted. Congratulations! I love his part of the song :D

  • @Nic0las11x12 It could be rick allen too he also has a mike

  • @Nic0las11x12 Could've been Rick Allen. He had a mic strapped on his head.

  • @Nic0las11x12 I think Its phil, sav usually does the high bits in the harmonising

  • @cliffthelightning You can play that? That's so awesome? Is it easy?

  • @iplaybass00 Its not that hard , you just need too make shure your guitar sounds good so you can make his gainy chords sound as good as his , and the solo he does is pretty hard at first

  • @cliffthelightning Wow, well amen to that, I think Steve was a legend, i'll have to try that...

  • @cliffthelightning you should tab his guitar part for the rest of us, we could use it!

  • Its Phil. he always sang that part.........i imagine savage is singing it too.

  • @fameasser35 yea, i bet, idk i thought i always suspected it was sav, but wasn't sure, i just thought so bcuz he has such a low voice, and i couldn't see him singing the low vocals lol, but yea thanx, how did u figure that out by the way?

  • @daguitarkid14

I love DL just as much as the next guy but those backing vocals are canned, i.e. prerecorded. Like lots of other

    bands, common practice these days.

  • @432b86ed idk, i disagree, they don't really sound canned, nonetheless look, they say there vocals are real, but maybe not, wut makes u think so?

  • @iplaybass00 First of all they (backing voc.) simply sound too consistant in pitch and delivery for such a highly dynamic stage environment. Why screw around with all the variables i.e. sore throats, human error, doubling work loads, possible off nights etc. when this very important key element of the DL sound can be a sure thing- failsafe every night? In all fairness I'll admit it's conceivible that the backing vocals are truly live - but all things considered, I'll bet they're not. Peace

  • @432b86ed yea u got a point there with failsafety lol

  • @432b86ed Oh they had to of...but I agree, Pyromania was great

  • @daguitarkid14 It's mostly Phil ;)

  • @daguitarkid14 its phil....im pretty much sure

  • @daguitarkid14

    I'm sure it's Sav

  • @daguitarkid14 It's Phil. Sav sings in a higher range generally. :-)

  • Too bad Joe can't hit the high notes anymore (like on the studio version) and the bass sounded a little bit to low compared to the record but I still prefer this version.

    Both guitars sound great.

    R.I.P. Steve Clark

  • @MrDunkJunk Yes, Joe gets older, just like everyone does. I also prefer this version, because Steve's playing is so trashy and good to hear :D

  • @MrDunkJunk It's actually natural for men's AND women's voices to deepen some once they're past their mid-40's, making it physically harder to hit the high notes as they did in younger years. The only person I've ever heard flat-out nail the high notes now as in days past is Micky Thomas from Jefferson Starship. The guy is around 60 now and sounds as good as he did in the 70's and 80's. Bring him up from a 9/6/09 concert on here and listen. The guy's unreal!

  • steve clarck!!!!

  • Steve Clark's guitar at 3:27 is AMAZING

  • @tonton6969 I totally agree! ;D

  • @tonton6969 HELL YEAH!!

  • This version is better than any other . THX

  • @apollotakacs Yes, it's fantastic, 10 times better than the studio version, but did you hear the unmixed soundboard version of Photograph? I also have it mixed with the video, so you can listen and watch it if you wish so. :)

  • wow 3 guys have shirts off

  • @aaronius4444 So what.. they kick ass they have every right to!!!

  • this is PURE candid awesome music right here!

  • @daguitarkid14 You are so right my friend! :D

  • @Nic0las11x12 thanks

  • woohoo 14 and love this freekin' i tried playin' it myself: harder than hell, dude! :)

  • Steve got sick solos:) he got soul in his solos..He was the best!

  • @Def86Leppard Yeah, he had the best feeling for melodic solos.. Steve always sounded great.

  • @kuriusgslade haha

  • how could you possibly not like this?its one of the best leppard songs ever written!

  • @AARluver4 You are absolutely right my friend! ;) I love that song and I believe it is very popular aswell :D

  • @AARluver4 their monitor was upside down

  • Who the fuck disliked it already?

  • @Numba1Gama idk but that kinda pisses me off

  • @Numba1Gama i know right?!? this is fuckin' candid right here!
