Hey! Same speakers and CD player as I've got, but I use an Exposure integrated amp with my system. The Focal speakers are really outstanding. I am planning on upgrading to one of the Electra floorstanders in the future, but those suckers are expensive.
Hi, I am familiar with the system setup and its very good. However, your recording sounds bright and tizzy due to all the reflective surfaces. Too many bare walls, glass surfaces, wood floor surfaces creating reflections and excess reverb in the high frequencies. You need to treat your room. Look to buying/building some QRD diffusers. You can Google or search TY for how to do this. Then it will be much better.
