  • wtf? That looks like shit!

  • These Ehow, and Monkey See videos all suck, they never do anything right!!

  • polish does not remove swirl marks on any car EVER>

u have to cut a new grain in your paint with compound then use glaze,, then finer glaze, then hand polish.

  • now this is a guy i wouldn't let polish my car....

  • Damn. Does everyone have to be an asshole on YouTube??? At least post some videos of you doing it better. Or just bite you tongue (or mouse finger) and pass on a negative comment. Otherwise, have a nice day. ☺☺☺

  • LOL splatter!

  • What a waste of polish

  • Oh man... Shame on this guy... What the hell is he doin??? He hasnt got a simple Idea of detailing. I´m a detailer too, but this guy... woohaa.. hope he dont take money for that crap

  • This guy doesn't know what hes doing ...... the pad is supposed to be flat on surfaces at all times.. thats why detailers like him burn through the paint and not letting the polish to cut the clearcoat evenly

  • So now that you've removed the swirl marks, how do you remove the waffle marks?

  • blue waffle

  • I DIDNT SEE A FUCKIN SWIRL MARKS FUCKIN FAIL VIDEO

  • more pad prep (prime the pad) + starting off slow then increasing speed = less product needed and not covering the car with polish.

  • what a moron you apply wax to the pad and spread it to prevent splatter...what an ass

  • Face palm! Wholly crap! Wrong machine, wrong speed, wrong pad, wrong technique. Best bring yourself into the twentieth century.......trikes@live.com.au

  • @01trikes But it came out nice sooo~~~ who cares?

  • This guy has so much dick in his ass they call him "dickass"

  • some youtubers are rettarded !!he said he whould clean the window in the end ..what the F*& wrong with people??

  • perhaps a little too much product applied there buddy.

  • that mormon add is way to long

  • man you dont know what your doing, you dont wipe the polish into the car with the pad, you sling shot the shit everywhere, and you tilt your pad like someone who doesnt know how to buff, why dont you go back to networking computers or some software design and leave the hand tools to the men

  • He should be using the 10/10 procedure to avoid flinging all that polish everywhere.

  • i have a different and easier technique to do the same job with out to much work

  • Why are Americans so obsessive with safety.

  • @JamesDS95 the little measures of safety can prevent riots from happening. practicing safety on little things will come in handy when it comes to larger things, such as police confrontations. Why are British so careless? Riots.

  • @butterfaceee I'm not going to do little essays with you. Because it bores me and ends in endless arguments

  • @JamesDS95 we're not, just afraid of getting sued

  • @ortzinator Really? Not being offensive or anything but your country just tries to find something wrong so they can make money out of it.

  • Did you say dish soap? The clay bar strips off wax. Dish soap destroys clear coat.

  • mate, how about you mask the window and ffs hold the pad FLAT!!!

    Not a really great vid.

  • @coastvl why would you take all that time to mask off the windows when it takes about one eighth the time to just wipe off the windows. Clearly you need these videos

  • You skipped the machine polish, and used too soft of a pad. I know, because I made this mistake too, then I learned. After compounding, I use a black 3m waffle pad with 3m machine polish. Its simple to follow the Perfectit guidelines.

  • ohhh SHINY!!

  • I did not think they would mean polish like in polishing..I thought they mean like polish people.. xD

  • Akzo Nobel Sikkens is located in my village :P

  • hahahaha this guy is funee

  • so are we going to get to see a video where we can actually see the "scratches and swirls" :-/ why not just rename the video 'Watch me use a machine polisher'

  • Way too much product was used... I and prefer to apply directly to the pad.

  • my orbital polisher comes with 1 applicator bonnet and 1 polishing bonnet, so for example if I want to polish, do I put the polishing bonnet and polish or do I have to use the application bonnet to apply the polish product and THEN polish. If you can help me, I thank you so much!

  • Nice splatter there, chief. A logical person would start the polisher on a slow speed to avoid the disaster you just created. But, it's a technique...(head shakes)

  • I was expecting to see the scratches in the surface prior and after the polishing. You didn't tape the half and zoom in to see the difference, also, question, how do you know when to stop buffing?

  • if you use a medium compound to remove scratcsh and swwirls, do you then have to go over with a light compound or finishing polish. or wil lthem edium of done its job of removing the shit and brining back the shine

  • there should be no "splatter" if he is doing it propperly. less is more, prime your pad, a small amount on polish, smear over the paintwork upto 2 x 2 area, and always start your rotary or DA while its in contact with the painwork, most have soft start so there should be no issues.

  • I don't know who are these mudda fucca 34 voters against this one saying "dislike" xD

  • too much product, hes getting more shit up the glass then on the paint.-fuck sake.

  • @elesian~ no its not too much product. You're always gonna get some "throw-off".

  • did he say dish washing soap o.o?

  • this isn't a Polish car, you lied to me

  • ha, ha, selten so ein idiot gesehen....!!auch in seinen anderen videos, einfach ein schwachkopf..!!

  • OH MAN MORE OF THIS IDIOT

  • fuck u ar gayyyyy hahhahahahahhaah bmw3 is hie

  • He said he would address the splatter later. And he is not going to clean the window until he does the other side of the deck lid. Weenie!

  • Excellent a video how to remove swirl marks.... suggested video "How to wax your bikini line" thanks you tube.

  • Prep the pad, load the pad, distribute the product.

Polish a car? I wouldn't let this dork wash my driveway.

  • if that's a 330i i have the same car

  • @chris000089 it clearly says "320i" on the back

  • @TheRealAaronThurman well it looks like there's a reflection over it

  • hahah are you going to be polishing the window tooo?

  • u sir are a moron

  • I've watched this multiple times, and ive finally realized that he uses the 3m product and pad combo.

typical paint and body shop supplies but their ultra fine machine polish and blue finesse pad that he uses is phenomenal. I have used it before with very low hologramming.

  • look "paul dalton -miracle detail"

  • missed a spot

  • This video is better than expert village "Hi I'm Doug guy!"

  • that would leave some lovely hollograming and buffer trails.

  • hey yo... how can i make my car look better.... the paint looks like is coming off... i just want it to make it look like new... is there any way to do so, without painting it.?

  • hey yo... how can i make my car look better.... the paint looks like is coming off... i just want it to make it look like new... is there any way to do so, without painting it.?

  • I'm somewhat confused Mark... you state that you are starting out with medium pressure and graduating to light pressure...

but then you start tilting your buffer up on an angle which transfers even more pressure to the edge of the pad?

  • if you keep the wax on the paint people will believe that you are a pro

  • @allien2y thats not wax you stupid fuck, its polish.

  • y didnt u use a cover on the window u dumbass?

  • Makita ftw

  • Mark, I usually work my buffer at lowest speed and move toward my left slighty angled picking up the bead....this helps prevent polish from slinging in all directions.

  • whipe off the fuckin window!!! goddam am i the only one that saw that?

  • @tydrotype2 ... but you are definately the only one who didn't hear at the end of the video that he would be cleaning it up

  • @westeh wow!

  • @tydrotype2 You obviously weren't listening to what he was saying.

  • @tydrotype2 If you watched the entire video he states @3:24 that he'll discuss how to clean off the "splatter" in the next video.

  • @tydrotype2 way to listen to the last 30 sec of the vid he said in the next vid well show thw other half of the deck lid and how to wipe the WINDOW etc etc. dipshit.

  • @tydrotype2 Chill the fuck out!!!

  • @tydrotype2 Window cleaning is next week.

  • @tydrotype2 It's an instructional video, and he indicated that he still had the other half of the trunk lid to polish. Doesn't make much sense to clean a window, when you most likely make a mess of it again in a few minutes. Unless of course, you enjoy doing tedious labor twice.

  • @tydrotype2 Watch the next video > Polish Car - Scratch Removal Clean-Up and Wax Replacement. He wipes the windows down.

  • @tydrotype2 i saw it was going to happen before he turned his vibrator on, that massive lump of that white stuff was all of the head of that blue cloud of joy

  • @tydrotype2 What's the last thing he said in the video?

  • @tydrotype2 Did you watch the whole video?

  • @tydrotype2

    ditto

  • I wonder if that is polish or its a special Glaze for the male Penis lol.

  • +1 shakes that compound

  • i think he used a bit too much of that paste... and he should mention to mask plastic trim..

  • Here's a fag I think we can all agree that deserves to be bullied!

  • @mypalrocco I wouldnt bully fags thats not nice. I dont know if he is gay or not but i wonder if he is. Like haw he says Poolishhh. lol.I would rather see 2 guys or two girls, then a white woman with a black dude. thats sicker to me.He has to clean up his splatter lol.If he isnt gay he is very girly. I wouldnt bully fags but its ok to fuck with them. my friend is gay and i fuck with him and his partner all the time.lol.

  • This guy supposedly owns this auto-body shop, "Spectrum," and refers to it as the "premier" shop in DC!? Sound like he doesn't know fuck about shit or shit about fuck!?! Bet he knows all about hairy man ass though!

  • Is this guy a cock lover??? I'm wondering if the scratches and scuffs are from him trying to bite the trunk when he was face down on it getting romped by Bubba!?!

  • DISH WASHING SOAP?????? I never use Dish washing soap on my car!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!

  • not the gay guy again

  • Why is every man in america talk and act like a mincing homo?

  • go fist yourself

  • penis.

  • real professionl detailers dont leave swirl marks mean you used to much compound dumbass

  • i have some scrathes that can only be seen under the sun.. i think i have this scratches becuase i have the wrong cloth that i used when im washing my car. how can i remove it?

  • @pinoyflipside me too, do you have any idea?

  • what a monkey :D

  • that is way way too much compound!

  • everybody seems to have their own opinion on this subject and thats called democracy for the less inteligent of you i guess.im not saying my system is the best but i find it achieves the results i want and my reputation as a quality refinisher is paramount and intact so all you wannabe experts argue amonst yourself and leave me out of this,im happy as are my customers and thats basically all that counts.have fun with this everybody and good luck.

  • What a monkey.

Did not cover up the rear windscreen and used too much product, slinging it all over the place. Only an ignorant person would be impressed.

Also, after compounding, you CANNOT remove ALL swirls with just 1 round of rotary buffer work. All he did was to use lots of polish to COSMETICALLY CAMOUFLAGE those swirls.

    LOL....what a "professional"

Also, what polish did he use? Not mentioned. Goodness...what a silly video that gets novices into trouble.

  • using 3m hand glaze to remove swirlmarks is lazy and wont last as long

  • destroying of the BMW , fuck man get out of garage you know shit

  • Lol massive over use of product and all over the window too. Looks like you've buffed some of the window too :O.

  • the marks are gone but the windows were all sloppy! much product in the car cover in my opinion. Another thing, where is the insulation tapes?

  • nice swirls

  • cock

  • i color sand with 1000 then with 2000 and use guide cote inbetween then use a wool pad with 3m #1 then use a black woffle pad with 3m #2 ...then finish with a green woffle pad useing a 3m polish and shine.....its like glass when im done...

  • @925dude thats right, you know what your doing, everybody has an opinion,I've been detailing for over 12 years and you have the right steps down, perfect shine everytime, you can also put a nice final wax after I like the blue coral revive it works real good

  • You really should stop hacking cars up sir.

  • Car Polishing with a RO Polisher to remove swirls by Car Care Products

  • WAY TO MUCH POLISH... you sould use about 1/10th of that. you should never have any off-spray. try adding polish to the pad, them work the polish into the surface, and finally turning the macine ON and polish. also the pad sould be flat to the surface, you can burn your paint like that.

  • lol theres shit flyn all over the window

  • wow, that is not how you pick up polish with a rotary buffer. Stopped watching as soon as he started.

  • is it just normal polish he uses to get rid of swirl marks?

  • hey man you didnt empty the bottle on that 2x2 area you should have used waay more like one bottle should do the trunk and the other bottle should do the door frame . oh and you didn't spray enough polish on the rear-window either.

  • i love the blue pads with the ultrafina polish...it makes fine scratches and swirls easy to get out on dark cars.....also works great for holograms

  • all the polish splattered on the rear window hahahahahaha

  • all the polish splattered on the rear window hahahahahaha

  • all the polish splattered on the rear window hahahahahaha

  • first time he ever saw a bmw aahaha

  • ...so ive been researchig this for a while now, im sorry man but this is by far the worst video ive seen, im not on this guys sack but look up jukman2000 he gives detailed instructions his videos are great take what you learn from jukman go look at other techniques and try it yourself. take care of that paint

proud owner of a prelude 5thgen.

  • now u can go wash the car again, dumpass!use the polish on the pad

  • Can anyone tell me if you can polish a car with a orbital buffer? If so what kind of bonnet should I use for the application and removal of the polish?

  • You can use any kind of buffer that rotates and will allow for attachments such as lambswool or other buffing pads. I have a 59 dollar porter cable that works great. These guys try to sell you on expensive machines you don't need.

  • hey where did u buy that at...i wanna buy one from a store not online

  • Try Menards. That's where I got mine.

  • no u put it on car, then rub it in with the buffer off. which is what he did. putting it straight on the pad would not give thorough coverage

  • Now, I'm not an expert when it comes to detailing. I'm actually just now learning how to do it the right way. And one thing I do know is you never apply the polish or wax on the surface you're going to be working on. Apply it on the pad.

  • thats true allways on the pad .

  • f your paint is good, never go for abrasive compound but if thats all u got or a semiabrasive compound u can just use a light compounding foam pad instead of a wool pad which is for more abrasive jobs!

  • this is the wors i seen you need to go for a mexican pro is geting more time to cleand the window end plastic then the jop is wort

  • you just fuck up the window hahahaha

  • botou tanto.,, pra pulir o cristal de atrais...

non ves como lle salpica...jajaja ni puta idea !!!

ojala fueran tan faciles de sacar los swirls

en una laca como la de bmw

    mas bien..daria lana y fast cup plus o 105

    echando 10 veces menos claro..

  • your ment to polish and then wax not wax then take the wax off then polish like your doing

  • exagero de material, dava pra fazer um carro inteiro

  • man this video suck's picking up compound like that.....and ur a pro rite.

  • clay bar does not get water spot's off.

  • Does anyone know how to remove waterspots on a hood, theyve been on for several months, they DONT seem to budge with regular washing, including heavy scrubbing! errrrr! any Advice is appriciated!

  • Use a clay bar, or a diluted vineger solution.

  • @39Nordic wet sand wit 2000 grit

  • @Fastbullit17 Ok thanks for the suggestion, from what I am seeing , I will also have to invest in polisher to remove damage from sanding.

Yes I did do the claybar, it helped, but DID not remove all water spots.

  • Hey don't sand it. if your paint is good, never go for abrasive compound. You just need to apply a very light polish.

The best in market are you either go for Menzerna PO85RD or try 3M Ultrafina SE 50383

I bet you will get the best gloss you ever have imagined.

  • @teaser2233 ok thanks for the info, I will try to find those brands of olish, I did pick up a PC, and it seems so easy to use, it came with Mequairs "Ultimate" Polish, which has removed most water stains.

  • @teaser2233 ok thanks for the 411, i do now at least have a porter cable, w/ pads, so where can i buy those polishes you mention??

  • @39Nordic, it depends on where you reside. Assuming u are in USA, 3M Ultrafina US version (6068) is OK but the European 50383 is best. You might have to get it imported.

i think Menzerna should be available there. Just try any online store u'll get it.

Lastly start with medium pressure on ur porter cable and later apply very light pressure to get the finish. normally it takes 4-6 minutes per square area where u are working. do 2-3 passes with medium pressure and 3-5 of light to very light.

  • 3M makes it go on there site or google a distributor

  • Wait...Dishwashing soap?!

  • ok.

  • anyone know where to find the 3M brands?

  • puerco, empapela los vidrios, salpicaste todo

  • why do you all make this process soundso complcated. Ive been painting cars for 30 years and use 1500 wet and dry followed by g3 compound with a soft foam head on my machine and get a finnish like clear glass everytime. Finish off by going over with 3m handglaze on a soft cloth to remove swirl marks and the finnish would look at home on any Ferrari,Merc, etc. Its not rocket science.

  • @jonkheero1 maby you can do a vid ur self ... like a how to!

  • so the 3M handglaze applied by hand is enough for me to remove any swirling left by the buffer?

  • @jonkheero1

so you compound with a finishing pad and then follow up removing holograms or micro marring with a glaze? Yeah sounds like you know what you're talking about...

  • @jonkheero1

Your such and idiot and people like you give other bad names. You don't go 1500 sanding to compound to glaze. I don't care how long you have been doing things, in this time era, you are WAY wrong. Sorry charlie.

  • @jonkheero1 If you're an expert why watch this video? Your awesome.

  • @StupidPeoplePolice lol well said

  • @jonkheero1 If you did that in my shop I'd fire your butt. Those swirls would not be gone. You're green behind the ears son. At least you got some thumbs up! Heres a middle finger.

  • @jonkheero1

    LOL....you're a sprayer. That's THE problem.

With your method (G3 + 3M), you're creating swirls with the G3 and you cant see these swirls due to indoor lighting you use and also because G3 is oily and covers up swirls very well. You continue to hide these swirls with 3Mglaze.

    After a few washes......my god!!!!!!

Why don't you wipe the buffed hood repeatedly with undiluted alcohol and inspect under strong white lights? You'll see the horrendous swirls you've created.

  • @jonkheero1 I used to do it that way too but the higher sand paper the better the shine I at least go 2000 now or even 3000 but like you said old school still works

  • @jonkheero1..How 'bout posting a video?...I'm sure we'd all like to see it.

  • @jonkheero1 so would it be recommended to use one of these to wax my car? i HATE waxing i always use a towl and elbow grease to take the wax off and it kills me when i am done. would it be easier to use a buffer like this?

  • @jonkheero1 y don;t u make a video about how to do it properly then grandad.

  • @jonkheero1 thats the difference between bodyshop 'mopping' and detailing paint correction. The main difference is detailers try to correct the paint whilst removing the least amount of paint possible and achieve much higher quality finishes. I say this as I am a full time detailer and going by what I have seen my good friend do over the years at his bodyshop painting ferraris, astons, lambos etc and uses a similar process to you. Just my 2 pence..!

  • @jonkheero1 also there are thread upon thread of cars being sent to detailers after they have been to the bodyshop to undo the damage they have done, usually a combo of compounding followed by glaze which just fills and hides all swirl marks which just come back later and leave the paint in a terrible state. Take a look on detailing world for much more in depth threads about this!

  • @jonkheero1

Where are you located? And what do you charge for a job like that?
