Well no, that's very wrong, it depends, because they're practically 2 different games, just the same genre. If you're looking for a modern day realistic shooter, than MW 1 or 2 is perfect for you, if you like the whole WWII type, then CoD2 is you're thing, but to my opinion, They've done a bit too much for WWII I wish they would do stories on some other wars instead just WWII.
