Sweet Georigia Brown Art van Damme

After Johnny Meijer died in 1993 Art van Damme and his wife Dorothy flew to Amsterdam and laid flowers on his grave. I wonder if they ever have met during their lives?

Now both are gone and both left a legacy of marvellous recordings for us to enjoy.

i'm 71 years old, this man entertained me when i was in grade school and i like it as well today...the music today rule of : IF YOU CAN'T PLAY GOOD, PLAY LOUD..doesn't say much for this generation
