this movie reminds me of another asian movie i have seen...but with 3 children and the mom disappears and the children had to take care of themselves...and at the end one of the children died...sad movie. wish i could remember the title of the movie.

The film is toned down of the real incident called "the four abandoned children of Sugamo".
