It is not recommended to replace non-quiet power supply fans with quiet fans because the original high rpm fans inside are rated specifically to cool the non-quiet power supply. You will run a high risk of overheating your power supply if these higher airflow fans are replaced with a fan with a lesser cfm (cubic feet per minute) airflow rating. A quiet power supply uses a larger and more efficient heatsink area as well as more efficient circuitry to compensate for the lower speed fans.
@outtokill7 May be an overheat due to a fan but many times it's those GD Chinese electrolytic capacitors that are part of the voltage regulator for the CPU on the motherboard. Look at the tops of them for swelling or even leakage. Replace the capacitors, or the motherboard, if they are failing.
