Damn ppl chill. Rob Zombie isn't a "genius" but he isn't awful. He's more like an awesome celebration and ode to that horror niche rooted in incestuous, necropheliac, skin-mask, southern serial killers. He also does a pretty great job at recounting lots of 70's horror trademarks while making the movies as gorey as they are campy. The movies aren't supposed to be taken as "genius" or serious. He just wants kids to have the same movies he had and loved, I'm sure. No need to be a snobby critic.lol

House of 1000 Corpses is a bit different in the style it was filmed and some of the things are more fictional (such as monsters and etc) where as Devil's Rejects is a sequel and about the same people, but it is just about them being sick killers (setting is more make belief and realistic) and none of the monster stuff from the first one. Although if you can, why not watch the first one, at least it will tell about how crazy these guys are :) Won't kill you.

Halloween 1 and 2 were better than the originals, ill give credit to the 2003 remake of texas chainsaw massacre, but it was just below par of the original.
