@fsx737200 it sounds like the skyline because of the same engine design but the xr6's is bigger and a few things are different, you cant really compare it the r34 maybe to the gt-s but not the gt-r, its in a league of its own, its pricier and its not a family car. both cars have a different target market. but both cars are excellent and i hope ford keeps improving the xr6 turbos
@shufflerXTC I think they perfected it in the FG. the other night i was driven around in an original BT1 VL 5 speed. such a large gap in years it's so hard to compare the cars. i ended up respecting the VL for it's time, but ended in saying the turbo falcons are the turbo cars of today in oz.

ah sweet, i own one with 305rwkw, getting an exhaust soon which should see about 340-350kw@wheels. It sounds no where near as cool as that one, has he got his airfilter coming straight off the turbo? I still retain my crossover pipe and airbox and I think It muffles the turbo sounds a little, Ill post a lil vid in the video responses. Cheers Tom
It does sound sweet, shame the GT was so loud over it. Not sure one that one sorry. Bit i don't like that loud blow off sounds like some have, this XR doesn't have that.
You should try a twin 2.5" X-Force system, seen one getting around here, with quad exhaust tips, sounds brilliant.

In this vid, it was a twin 2.5 inch XForce system with the small mufflers. Sounds nice but it was droney and loud in the cabin.
