we were there for 2 days..the first day it was sunny and there was ice everywhere..that same night the storm came and it snowed a lot...it was also windy and they almost didn't let us snowboard..but it ended up ok :) this weekend I can't drive all the way there... I gotta go to big bear...I hope there is snow ...
Big Bear is open and the temps are hitting the 50s, so warm too. It's a good spot close to Palm Springs for you! My next winter trip will be the Fire & Ice Show in Ely, Nevada. 17th & 18th of January...expect another video!
When we started a serious storm blew in, besides the heavy snow, wind, poor visible conditions, frostbite...hehe, It was awesome!! Sunday cleared up in the morning for a little while.
Good combination of nice appropriate music with interesting views gives a good feeling and desire to visit such place one day in the future. Looks like a really good place to spend time with children. Thanks.

I left mammoth that day....when we got there, we had no snow... ice only..and it was so hard to snowboard.u guys got there at the right time.
