Keep in mind while that was an epic flight and that model is amazing, there's no way this performance would've happened in real life... it pulled way too many g's for the pilot at times, and the real J10 doesn't have that kind of power of maneuverability.

Still, awesome pilot.

This is absolutely amazing how he acutally got the model up and flying. I dont know much about RCs but Eurofighter-like designs are virtually impossible to maneuver manually without the aid of an artificial/electronic stability control system.

@PrometheanRunGood i think it should have some sort of stabilizing hardware in there coz apart from being an unstable shape, this model that these guys are flying have vectored thrust (can you believe that shit?). Now i fly the real thing (not the j -10 but a bigger fighter which has thrust vectoring) and im pretty sure you'll require some sort of basic fly-by-wire(a few gyros at least) to fly this thing.

haha it is impossible. A real jet has a pilot inside and it won't be fun doing all these. Besides, a real jet needs to carry missiles. you can't pull these moves with 8 tons of weapon.

This plane shows ridiculous performance because of the jet engine it is using. Apparently it is using one of the latest jet engines in the RC community, and thus has a huge thrust/weight ratio. No real planes can achieve this level of thrust/weight ratio. And the kind of tight turns and flips he did, for a real aircraft, that would have killed the pilot on the spot. That is why watching RC air shows can be more fun than watching real ones!
