@ericlouisd no, apple tv os became front row 2.0 with leopard, before that it was way more basic. now with apple tv os 2 it has a even more powerful media center.

Look fore the Apple TV Logo in the beginning and the Quit function this is only in the hacked Apple TV Version. Had it also installed on my Mac mini.

The 'Front Row 2.0' is called 'Back Row' internally inside Apple. I reckon this is the 'next generation of Front Row' that Steve Jobs told us will be in OS 10.5 Leopard
