Love the chromatic ! I have posted some bass lesson vidz to show how you can really get this idea burning on the fretboard too..I am using my Victor Bailey Jazz bass...so, if you even just want to hear its tone...its most likely worth a look...cheers

lol my fingers used to fly off the fretboard like that. My instructor doesn't like me doing it anymore so now he has me practicing while keeping all my fingers as close to the strings as possible. This is probably good technique for a beginner to learn but if you really want to get fast you gotta learn to be conservative with your motion. It is hard to break old habits lol!
