just to give you a heads up man, the stock turbos were horribly reliable (even though a boost rotary isnt really reliable to begin with). The sequential turbo is still a viable set up with better turbos, but big single turbos is where most of the rotary guys up here in COS go.
damn it, I meant to say twin turbo EXHAUST MANIFOLD turns the engine bay into an oven. It's like 20+ pounds of cast iron, one of the most heat-retentive materials out there.
Not to mention all of the RUBBER vacuum lines placed around that manifold for the turbo control system. I refuse to believe it was the engineers fault, more like the bean counters.
his is only 313hp probly because he doesnt have any other engine mods.. this turbo could hit 400+whp around 17-20psi with a few other minor engine mods
As in less stress on your turbo means less heat, means cooler air, meaning more power for your psi. And a non-cooked engine bay.

only 313whp??
nice ride tho
but some 7's can make 313 off the base turbos cant they?

yes just run higher boost on the stock twins. A single turbo is more reliable and allot less hassle then the twin sequential turbo's.

Yep. And the stock twin turbo turns the engine bay into an oven.
Also, running a larger turbo at lower boost is less stressful on the turbo itself, rather than pushing those little pea shooters to their limit.

313 rwhp seems a little low for a t04s w/ supporting mods at 15 psi, i could be wrong.
oodlepoodle 4 years ago 4
your right should be around 400 or so if its ported, if its on stock ports that seems right
