You have to accept that for some western cultures eating with hands is considered primitive, but I think the point of the storyline is that fact that his teammates convince him that it's actually an ok thing to do and so he joins them. My only problem with this commercial is the fact that he is eating the least healthy part of the chicken, which for an athlete is not such a good thing!
