i've always liked this song because I was a total closet MJ fan and a rheostatics nut, and the whole first part is rather complicated/negative take on Jackson and children, but then the second part makes you so freaking happy to be alive (and wearing a red leather zipper jacket) that after fifteen damn years I STILL can't figure out if they're Michael Jackson fans or not.
The audio isn't the greatest, but source yourselves a copy of "Introducing Happiness" and listen to this fantastic song (from 1994).
In concert, Dave used to let the audience shout out the "Micheal" and "Jackson" parts, a fond memory.
Even though MJ has been parodied so many times over the years, this song is a genuine expression of their love for his music, without resorting to cheap sentimentality.
ahh, Dave Clark was the best drummer they ever had... seeing him here brings back many fond memories. he was quite the storyteller in between songs along with the rest of the ensemble!
It's too bad these much music clips have weird breaks in the audio, I hope some pristine footage of this and shaved head surface someday! Great performances of both songs.
Here are the lyrics One, two, everybody go...) (Shut it up.) (Roses are red. Violets are blue. Honey's sweet, just like you.) I have all your records. I have even bought some of them twice Even though my friends in school Think I am wrong to find you cool. I don't care because I know You care about who writes to you. I enjoyed the fan club letter, But an autograph would be better.
MICHAEL! I have hear about your bleeding, But I don't believe in reading All of those rumors can't be true. I hope I meet a friend like you. I play Bad until my parents, They tell me: "Go to sleep and dream it." Still I play them soft and low. I sing the words, the ones I know. JACKSON! It feels good to be alive! Bad! Alive!
Damn this is awsome, my friend told me about this band so i looked them up. This is an amazing song. Is there any were i download some of there albums
do you have a better version of this video?

Dave wrote an article for the Post when MJ died that explained his complex thoughts on the matter quite well.
