Honestly all the korean singers that people are listing are even that good. and technically its not accurate comparing jay chou, a singer, to jaypark or gdragon because they are rappers and sorta did singing as a supplement IMHO and they all have their own distinct styles and genre.

I don't get all the hype with korean boybands and stuff. It's all flash, melodies composed out of 3 notes sung over and over again. Why do those songs get old so fast and they have to churn out more immediately? Because it's sooooo repetative and all beat.

To be honest, Jay is a superbly talented artist who write and sing really wonderful ballads as well as other songs. Saw him on a flight and he was totally exhuasted from a concert the night before that finished @ 1am and he woke up probably 6am to catch a 9am flight for another concert. I guess he must be a hard worker as well
